Strange throat hit

I notice a distinct throat hit (harshness..not a fan of throat hit), with the same juice but different tanks and devices.

juice - Coumarin Pipe (Mt. Baker)

Smooth

iClear 30s on a VTR.

Harsh

Kanger Aerotank on a VV3.

Both tanks have similar resistance (2.1, 2.2 ish) and I am vaping at same volts, 4.2

Why does the same juice taste harsher on the aerotank. I can't try the aerotank on the vtr at the moment (it doesn't work on the vtr)?

Compare them on the same battery. Not all are calibrated exactly the same, or precisely. So 4.2 volts on one may be 4 or 4.4 on another.

If there's still a difference, chalk it up to the different geometry of the devices. Different wicking, different air flow... etc.

It's not uncommon for a given flavor to taste/hit differently in different toppers. Just adjust the power to suit.

Where as Ohms may be the Major Contributor to how a Hit Tastes. It is Not the Sole Parameter. And a 2.2ohm Atty on one piece of Hardware May Hit Very Different than a 2.2ohm Atty in another piece of Hardware.

Airflow is a Big Factor. Wick Size is another. The Hole Diameter the Wick sits in is a Huge Factor.

Also, the way that 4.2 Volts is "made" can be Very Different from APV to APV.

If a APV Outputs 8.4 Volts for 1/2 Second and then Outputs 0 Volts for 1/2 Second, Isn't the Average Voltage over the 1 second Period going to 4.2 Volts? And is this going to Give the Same Hit if the Output Voltage was a Continuous Fixed 4.2 Volts or the Entire 1 Second?
