Copper is much softer than stainless steel, so yes eventually you'll find the SS threads will outlast the copper ones.

As far as how long, that depends.
If you pair it with an atty that doesn't require frequent removal and you aren't rough with it, it will last longer than with frequent removal or rough use.

Are stainless steel threads more durable than copper? Will the ss Pegasus from fasttech last much longer than the copper mod?

Stainless Steel is absolutely more durable than copper.
Stainless Steel is made for durability.

People who use copper mechs usually use them because they are running very low ohm coils and need very low voltage drops; the tradeoff is copper is a softer more bendable metal; it also develops a black layer of copper oxide over time, so I suppose it might need more regular cleaning.
