Hi, i'm fairly new to e-cigs .. just got my first bottom feeder (v-mod 2.0) .. it comes with 2 Li-ion 14500 3.7v 900mAh batteries , 1 x 2.2 ohm silo atty and . 1x hybrid atty. I'm currently using their battery with the 2.2 ohm silo atty but i'm not getting enough vapor to satisfy me. i would like to know what slightly stronger battery is out there that i could use with this 2.2 ohm silo and where to get it . I already have 2 IFR14250 200 mah batteries that i stack and use with the 2.8 ohm silo sometimes but i think it might be a little too much cuz it sometimes feels like its burning even tho i get a lot of vapor. any suggestions? thanks

I think you're pretty much stuck as far as batteries go, unless you can stack. But stacking two 3.7V batteries is pretty rough unless you're using a 4ohm atty, in which case you'd be vaping about 13.7 Watts and that's pretty darn warm.

Stacking two 3.7V batteries with a 2.8ohm atty is near insanity. No doubt it's a little too much, it's almost 20 Watts you're vaping!!!

I suggest you get lower resistance atomizers. Right now, with your 3.7V batt. and a 2.2ohm atty, you're vaping only 6.2 watts.
Dropping your resistance to 1.5ohms will give you 9.1 Watts. That's an HUGE difference and what most people consider a "Sweet Spot".

Get Low Resistance 1.5ohm attys and you'll be amazed at the difference.

i'm not stacking the 3.7 volt batteries .. those are the size of typical AA batteries and only 1 fits inside the unit. .. and that's what i'm using with the 2.2 atty. .(can only get good hits if the battery is freshly charged)..... i sometimes stack the little 3.2 volt 14250 batteries which are half the size and i use that with the 2.8 ohm atty. .... but thanks for the suggestions .. i will try out that AW IMR battery 600 mah battery ... and do you know where i might find those 1.5 ohm atty's that will fit my vapage vmod 2.0?

You defintitely have an atty issue, but I had never considered you were using Trust/Ultrafires. A battery upgrade will definitely help, especially after an hour or so. The AW 600's are good or you could get a little more capacity with a AW 750mah ICR battery. They cost another buck or two, but I use them and they seem every bit as good as the AW IMRs in the power department. I don't think there is any such thing as a true 900mah 14500. Trust/Ultrafire is famous for lying about their capacity.

With 2 stacked 3.2V, that's still almost 15 watts with a 2.8 atty, still very, very warm.
What kind of connection is it, I'm assuming a 510?
If so, you can get them at any e-cig supplies vendor. Super T might even have them. They have both types of batteries to, the AW IMRs and the AW ICRs. I don't use attys anymore, so I'm not up on the pricing but they're everywhere.
