Sturm mod with 510 adapter replacement
i changed the sturm mod connection.
drilling out the threading to make bigger hole.
and replacing it with 510 adapter, and alittle solder to hold it in place.
i didnt have to change anything on 510. works great.
no worry anymore about right size atty or center post falling out. :)

here how i did it.
510 adapter

measure outside (510 adapter) with micrometer.
when drilling out mod threading, use drill bit smaller than actual size measurement.
you can file out rest, because you want a very tight fit.
after that
i had to file alittle on adapter as well.
remember, you want a tight fit.
after i pressed adapter in, put old carto on it, to make sure its centered.
and tack it in two spots with solder.
i didnt have to change the center post in the adapter at all, its makes contact already.
when putting in 510 adapter, press it in alittle at a time, till you get the height you want.
once its in, it wont be coming back out. so go slow installing adapter.
most important!
protect you mod and adapter when installing.
i used hard rubber pads and electric tape.
(you can put longer center pin in 510 adapter to make better contact with all 14500 batteries)
