Thanks for all that info Candik. I just pulled out the quote above because I can't understand why they needed to add half an inch. But then I don't understand the rhinestones either. :D
I hope the Vamo v2 continues to be made as I like that it is plainer and doesn't have the cosmetic grooves. If I want to wrap it its easy to do. I have wrapped one of my v2 Vamo's.
Be good if this gets moved to the Vamo forum - people tend to look there for info like this.

Bigger, brighter, blingier must mean better right? I like the V2 and will stick with that one. Maybe someday when I start thinking like a Magpie and begin collecting bright and shiny's....

do they? guess i'll be snagging a ss v2 once this is returned lol
yeah the volume is low, my apologies. if you turn it way up you will hear the iclear firing on its own.
not the end of the world but definitely not good :)
Yeah, the SS VAMO v2 does accept a T3, just don't screw it on too tight, or you'll have a mess when you take it off.

No it shouldn't fire, in my opinion. I'm betting it's a firmware bug due to the branding. In the V2 there's a slight delay after hitting the button before it fires, maybe that's because I'm in power mode (watts) and it has to measure the resistance first, I'm not sure. What I think is happening is that they just inserted the branding code before the actual power off, and it's possible the V2 does fire slightly when fast clicking to turn off, only because it shuts off so fast after the fifth press, without logo delay time, it's not noticed.

i believe you hit the nail on the head, changed it to vv mode and it no longer fired when shutting down. guess it is indeed checking the resistance with each click and trying to catch up as the branding scrolls during shutdown. at any rate, i offered to sell the v3 to a fellow coworker for dirt cheap given the powerdown issue to get him into apv vaping. he didnt mind the issue or looks and is happily vaping at his desk as i type this lol

just placed an order for a ss v2 from fasttech :)
