Well it's better than the forums getting flooded by spam bots. So while the restriction is kind of annoying, it serves a higher purpose.
I admit I was a lurker at first too.... Then decided I'd like to join in on some of the threads so I joined. This place is a lot of fun to hang out in as well as a wealth of knowledge.
I had a lot of questions when I first came here. I was looking up what I could, but a few needed answers by vets here... or at least those in the know. I quickly found the people here most helpful and friendly, so I knew I had to show my appreciation and join officially.
I am trying to get my daughter and son into it .. they only know of the mini mart variety and imo is not a good rep of what vaping has to offer.

You will be of the MOST help. I am a couple of months into vaping, and I find that many of my questions are asked by other newcomers... as well as questions I hadn't considered yet. We all have different areas where we need clarification, and the more of us that ask, the more questions get answered, which benefits everyone.
Not to mention that, being new to this, we are looking at this topic with naive eyes and a whole lot of ignorance... therefore, when we approach things, it's like a whole new set of eyes, and a whole new brain full of ideas!

Not to hijack the thread, but since a lot of vets are commenting .. can I ask how to get those signature lines I see on some mebers comments -- not your names but like the little sayings and such. I have been looking on and off and can't quite figure it out ... Hope you don't mind me veering off topic for a sec

Go to your profile, and follow the 'Edit Signature' link. Then, when you post, make sure the 'add signature' checkbox is ticked (it is by default, but just give it a glance if you ever have issues)

You have to have 15 posts and the system refresh for the Edit Signature to appear in your Settings tho.
At 25 after you will be able to post in most other areas - the system has to refresh to acknowledge your posts

I am just getting cranked up as well!!! I have gotten soooo much info from here and had something really great to share on the GP Paps thread when I found out that I just could not share my knowledge!! I will keep plugging away so that I can pay it forward. I would not be were I am today as a vaper without ECF!!!!
