So, my Kit came yesterday, and boy is there A LOT of items that come with it! It was just overwhelming!

Especially being new to the whole thing almost half of the items I have no idea what to do with them.

There were three things that came with the kit that does look like you put the e-liquid inside -- sort of like a cylinder tank.

Looks like I will need to find some resources on how to put this device together.

But I am very glad that I had received all of these Items with it it gives me some more toys to play with! :p

This is a good point. A kit as large as this might benefit from an instruction sheet of some sort for all the different things in it.

For someone with some vaping experience these things are all familiar, but for someone new I could imagine some confusion for sure. Most items won't even have their names printed on it.

Mabye if someone approached Adam and crew about making a good one with photos and an easy text, naming everything as they go, they'd get a few favours thrown their way. I imagine them way to busy to do it themselves nowadays.

I'd volenteer myself, but, you've all seen my spelling and grammer.

That's true Darren but I was indeed able to manage, did a little research on the parts that came with my package figured everything out. And found some nice videos on YouTube on how to use it.

But boy when I first tried it, it felt like I was going to cough up a lung , I'm not sure why but I'm pretty sure it was the strength of the eliquid I purchased. Just felt like a super strong cigarette almost like Cuban cigarettes or a cigarette without a filter.

It does seem like quite a bit of technique which is something I will need to learn, one thing i did notice is it produces a lot of vapor but whenever I inhale and exhale it seems no vapor comes out. Unless i'm doing something wrong.

Quick question; what is everyones thoughts on the Joyetech eRoll? I think it's pretty cool, a quick and portable device looks cool.

I haven't used one, but I've watched a tons of videos, I'm conflicted between buying that or the Redds kit from happyvaper as a small cigarette sized device. The eRoll is apparently good for what it is, but it has a few problems; mainly heating up, short battery life obviously and an oddly placed air hole. Check out VaporChase's review if you haven't; VaporChase Review - Joyetech eRoll from Vapor Geek - YouTube

i have tried both. Could not find a comfortable way to hold the eroll , either blocking the air hole or burning my finger on the atty. Also find the tank a little finicky, and didnt like that the ppc has no extra slots for holding things. The best part of the eroll to me is that you put the fully assembled ecig into the pcc to charge, very easy.

I didnt get the whole redds kit, just the try me unit. The battery is a tiny 55 mm long, the shortest I have seen, and packs a pretty good punch when fully charged. its supposedly regulated, but I have my doubts. The power seems to drop fairly quickly. The vendor doesn't mention the mah of the battery but from what I gather, most of the 55 mm 808 batteries are 90 mah.

Of the two, I find myself reaching for the redds more often, its just so simple in every way.

Thanks for the feedback on the eRoll, I may or may not grab it just to try it out. Something small and portable would be very nice to have as well which is why I was asking about the eRoll.

Also from my quote below would anyone have any suggestions for me? Is it because I got such a strong e-liquid it is very hard to vape with it. And i'm not getting that much Vapor, i get a lot before inhaling but exhaling there is nothing.

Any tips on the techniques would be very helpful :)

And thanks again to all the users on this forum helping out a newbie :)

Happy Holidays everyone!

How much vapor that comes out depends alot on the length of time you hold the vapor in. Also, I find a slow long draw works best. When you say strong liquid are you referring the the nic count?

I bought the Redds kit for the wife as she didn't like the size of the Ego's I was using at the time and hates the magic wands I'm using now. She really liked the Redds for the fact that you can keep a few different flavours and an extra battery with you as you go.

I have the Redds kit (available at Happy Vaper or Maple Leaf Vapes) and it is what I use at work or out in public when I don't want to draw attention to myself with the bigger devices. It works great, you can charge the pack(pcc) and recharge the battery up to five times on the go, and like others said the pcc carries three more cartomizers and a spare battery. Good vapour production and many people don't even notice that it is not a actual cigarette (weird seeing how it is black in colour).

What is the strength of the juice that you purchased (mg level)? I've used 18mg since day one and it suits me fine, though I wouldn't mind a nic rush every now and then (may get a stronger bottle sometime). The 18mg level is average I believe, and as a former 1/2 to 3/4 of a pack a day smoker, it worked for me and no cigarette (referred to here as analogs) cravings. You should take long draws on it and not breath it down into your lungs until your mouth is full, then a short breath to actually inhale it, then release. Don't breath in too much regular air when you go to inhale or you can dilute the vapour and you barely notice it when you exhale. This is done purposely sometimes if you want to hide the vapour (stealth vaping).

Thanks so much for the Tips. And yes the strength i was referring to was the nic level which I did as 24mg, which was my mistake not noticing of what it would have been like. But that's fine, I can cope with these juices for now, or just go ahead and get some that are 18mg which i think would be around my comfort zone for sure.

I'll take a look at the Redds Kit as well for a more of a carry around me on the go type of kit. And thank you again for the tips on the Vaping techniques it is much appreciated. I will continue to play around with it, and definitely order some lower MG juices!

If the juice you have is just too strong for your liking, you could buy some no-nic PG or VG liquid (and a few empty bottles) and dilute it a bit. To dilute say a 30ml bottle of 24mg to 18mg, you would have to add 10 ml of plain PG or VG. To be sure of the nic level you produce (if you have different starting volumes) you can download a program called "ejuice me up" and it will calculate the amounts for you after you give it the variables you want. That program is really intended for mixing your own juice and flavours. There is a link on Canvape to the program under DIY recipes on the left side of the page.

You would lose a small amount of the flavour as this would be diluting the nic level and the flavour.

Finally got the hang of vaping. My issue was that instead of inhaling at the same time as pulling on te ecig i was puffing holding it in my mouth before actually inhaling.

I was using the ecig much like i would when i would smoke a real cig.

I did end up ordering some lighter ejuices so its more comfortable to vape.

Also what is the meaning of PG amd VG and the difference between them?

Thanks!
