Hahahaha. ALL my new stuff arrived today.Yea!
I got soo much stuff I'm thinking about getting a safe and insurance :)

Ran out to the store and the kid calls and says a package arrived... Get home and the Fedex truck pulls up with my batteries! (batteries came fully charged, even better! -- turns out Tenergy is located and ships from about an hour away from me).

New BSB -- perfect. Came neatly rolled in the black AltSmoke bag (which Rob has failed to emboss with "AltSmoke"). Had this really nice tape/label with fancy font printing keeping the bag rolled up. Says "BSB"... fancy. I wanted to save that! It wouldn't stick to anything after I removed it because of the fuzz from the bag :(. Put oxgard on the main threads. haha, had to wipe off the noalox that had already been applied (who knew?). copper colored hot spring inside. button is a tiny bit more recessed than I expected but it's perfect. and it's shiney. Shiney button on black SB. hawt. :2cool:

Hotspring for my BBs in a plastic bag with the 901/KR808D adaptor I ordered (there's a problem with the adaptor with the cartomizers. Works fine with the 901s which have their own air hole in the barrel. That's ok, this was the third adaptor in case I lost the backup adaptor for the adaptor that I use... Heh, I need one for the BB and one for the SB now. Talk about that in a separate thread (I might even look for the answer since I remember it coming up before).

3 more packs of KR808D emptys. Yea, yea, I've got more than half of the last 15 I got but heh, you never know when the first one will burn out. So far I've destroyed a few of them by mashing the filling, pulling it out, dissecting a couple -- put some awful juice in one and just couldn't deal with cleaning it. I've been using these for a week or so and dripping into a 901. Then I'll use a 901 cart with a hybrid PTB/straw filler for a week or so and dripping. Then back to the cartomizers and back and forth. Can't say that the cartomizers are substandard to the 901s ... but they're different. And I haven't been able to burn one out yet... I know that Kretek (TW clove) just doesn't work in a cartomizer. But the thicker juices seem to do great.

Just a boat load of 901 atomizers... earthquake, nuclear winter, I'm ready! Rob, if you run into some sort of supply line glitch I could probably hold you up for a while :). Lately I've been vaping exclusively 6v with my BB and these usually last 3 or 4 days or more. Maybe drenching the adaptor isn't doing them any good. I'll have to pay attention to that and see if there's any correlation.

Boat load of 901 empty cartridges WITH CAPS. yea... Capping my 901s with 510 caps just didn't inspire confidence. Those 510 caps have 2 flat sides and the 901s have one large flat side... This is classy. A bit of a pain in the .... but classy. These 901 caps are 2 piece caps! There is a really thin condom part that's shaped to fit tigtly over the flat side and goes on down to the bottom of the flat. Then there is this round (shiney black) less flexible cap that covers the whole thing down to the shelf the atomizer barrel hits. kewl.

and that's not all...

Boat load of 510 empty cartridges with caps. Hahaha, I stocked up on regular 510 atomizers planning on using them on my 510 kit, my BB and then later on my BB at 6v. Well... a regular 510 at 2.2 ohms trips the protection circuit on the protected CR2s that fit the BB. Doh... 901s at 3.0 ohms work great though! I'm expecting the threshold current to be just a bit higher on the RCR123a's so I'm planning on doing the 510s on the SB.

I now have a dedicated parts bin with labeled drawers.
I got an engraver so I can label all my atomizers, cartomizers and cartridges with Ohms (that I measure with my new heavy duty multimeter :p -- ok, I needed that for tuning my car too), date in service, juice. Stickers are tacky, engrave them :)

Options abound! :toast:

Thanks Rob! Thanks Chad! Believe me, both these guys answered a ton of nuisance email, PMs and chat while I worked out my current plan.

Oh yea, Those 2 18650s are in the mail.

I'll reserve the next post for pics.

So now I have both the BB and SB. People still have questions about the size. Numbers give you some idea but... I've got pics. Lousy pics, but pics nonetheless (never have got my macro function to work). Also if you've thought about a belt holster, the Ripoff C0-181 is perfect for both. Lots of pics of that too.

All the pics are with a standard 510 atomizer with cart except for the last one in the case. That one is with an adaptor and a 901 on the SB. Adds some length. If you put an 801 on it you just have to leave the flap open... it's not going to close.

The side-by-side shot.

I have large hands (ok, and they're pretty beefy too) I wear a Large golf glove.
BB and SB in hand positioned with thumb over button. Notice BB rests on little finger.

BB and SB in clenched fist. If you've every sized your golf grips this will give you a good idea of the difference in girth.

Ripoff case. Model C0-181. This was made for the SB (maybe Chad sized the SB for this case?)
Works perfectly for the BB as well. Majorly heavy duty belt clip. Having a hard time finding a place to put your BB or SB in the car? Fold that flap back behind the clip, drop it in the cup holder and you have an open pouch. Your BB/SB isn't going to rattle around and get scuffed.

Backside. Clip is not red, it's stainless. My camera is really old...

BB_SB_case_2.jpg

BB fit. It's actually down in there further than it looks.

BB_SB_case_3.jpg

BB fit with flap closed. 510 atomizer and cart.

BB_SB_case_4.jpg

SB fit. Top of barrel comes exactly to top of pouch. absolutely perfect fit. slides in and out with no resistance. any larger and it would be tight.

BB_SB_case_5.jpg

SB fit with flap closed. 510 atomizer and cart.

BB_SB_case_6.jpg

SB fit with flap closed. adaptor and 901 atomizer and cart makes it taller. Still a solid amount of velcro engaged on flap closure.

Ripoff model C0-181 front shot. SB with 510 and cart still inside.

That's a damn good idea, Quick1. I was just thinking earlier today about how to label my attys... an engraver sounds like pure win. I did just order some LR and HV attys from Eastmall, and the LR ones come with LR printed on them -- which is nice -- but I have nfi if they'll be as good as the Joye ones which only have a tiny 'LR' engraved on their base, which is not exactly ultra convenient to read.

edit: and since you're showing off your case, here are a couple of pics of mine that I just posted on another forum earlier:

bsb2.jpg

It's made from stretchy neoprene and can squeeze loads of stuff in, but it's nice and compact for daily duty with just some juice, BSB and an atty in it.
