Hey guys,

I got my BB in early February and everything has been in working order until just a few days ago. At first I thought it may have been the switch because there was some problems with that when I first got it. So I went ahead and ordered a voltage indicator to see if the problem was in the switch. it turns out that the switch is working properly and firing everytime according to the indicator.

I have diagnosed the problem as a connectivity issue with the threading. before it worked with any 510/306 atomizer or cartomizer that I have tried. It even worked with different style atomizers/cartomizers with an adaptor. Now it just does not work with anything. I have cleaned the threads on both the BB and said atomizer... they look brand new. I just can't get a solid connection with any type of atomizer or cartomizer even with an adaptor, I have tried every combination known to mankind.

I do not know why this problem occured. Does anyone know a solution?

I have tried this as well, taking a paper clip to pull up the center pin on the atomizer. Possibly I am not doing it correctly. I have not tried tweezers on the outer rim so I will go ahead and give this a shot.

I measured the depth of my BB threads compared to my other mods. The threads on the BB are deeper which would explain why it is not working. I will try this again and post my results.

Thank you.

Thanks Chad.

I will go ahead and submit a ticket now, it is getting very late. I should be able to reply sometime tomorrow afternoon.

So you mean to say that the center pin on my 901 or 801 adapter is too long and can crush the connector in the BB?

Yes, thread the 901 onto the adapter and look at the center pin on the 510 side of the adapter. o_O
