so I have had a thread like this but it got moved to this forum and I can't find it. So my apologies. Anyways, I bought this juice a while ago and it is a lime pie. Premium juice. It says it may contain nicotine, diacetyl, and or acyteyl propionyl , then it continues to say this product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. I have never seen this on any e liquids, is it okay to vape or what? I messaged the company and they said that it is light on ingredients that may have da/ap in it

It's up to each individual person whether or not they want to vape eliquids with any of the diketones in it. No one can make that decision for you.

Personally, if a flavoring I want to use in my eliquids has 2 versions for me to choose from: (1) with tiny amounts of AP or acetoin in it, and version (2) the same flavoring but without any AP or acetoin in it...I choose to use the 2nd one. However, if it's a flavoring I really like and it doesn't have a version 2...I'll usually still use it anyway. That's a choice I make though for myself.

Remember, too - There are 1,000's of products that contain the warning: "this product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm." Sometimes...they've done lab tests where they've given lab rats 100 x or more, of the normal amount of a product that a human would consume, inhale, put on their skin, etc., in order to find that it has caused some of the above that is warned about.

Again...up to you to decide on using the product or not.

California has that warning on just about Everything: If Everything Is A Threat, Then Nothing Is | Techdirt

"Nearly every product sold in California contains this warning label."

By law they have to place this label on anything that 'might' cause cancer or have an ingredient that 'might' do the same.

Even furniture has that warning label because of the material it was finished with.

They do not take into consideration that dose makes the poison. In other words, something is safe at xx percentage but bump that up by the thousands, it now is considered very toxic.

Even water.
