Just got this new juice and it says may contain diacetyl, or acetyl propionyl. Is this something to be worried about? It's a key like pie flavor
The diacetyl hype is overboard, cigarettes have something like 2 thousand times more diacetyl than juice. How many millions of people and hundreds of years and no so called popcorn lung.

Nothing but hype, don't worry about it.

The whole diacetyl thing is just one of the witch hunt tactics.

Simply put: Have you heard of a single case of pop-corn lung from regular analog cigarettes?

NO?
NOT EVEN ONE?!?!?!

HOW CAN THAT BE?!?!?!? OMG!!! BUT BUT BUT DIACETYL, IT'S THE DEVIL! IT'S SO HORRIBLE THAT YOU MUST FEAR ELIQUID THAT CONTAINS A MICROSCOPIC AMOUNT!!!

Ok.. enough panic already, just consider these (infographics):

So yeah... think about that for a moment.... just stop drinking the kool-aid.

How many different threads asking basically the same thing are you going to start? You don't seem to actually be reading any of the responses.
No offense to the OP, but he initiates so many various threads on almost a daily basis (which is perfectly acceptable) he may lose track of them.

Why don't you be the judge?:

I am not a scientist or medical professional, so i won't give advice on online forums. Anyone concerned should do their own research and decide themselves whether they wanna vape diketones and how much.

Having said that, i think you are doing a disservice to the community by posting that pamphlet here without fact checking or providing links for the numbers. ECF should not be a source of misinformation imo. One cigarette does not contain that much diacetyl, that's the total AP and diacetyl for 20 cigarettes. And maximum diacetyl/ap for a the "worst" eliquid is not 9 micrograms. The vast majority of liquids have far less diketones in say 5 ml compared to a pack of cigarettes, and most have none by now, as many flavor providers and vendors don't use them. But there are clearly some liquids in the market with far far higher numbers than what that pamphlet says. The "worst" are comparable with cigarettes ( 5 ml compared to 20 cigarettes ).

Who is Greg Baughman ?

No excuse.

Moved to DIY E-Liquid

And to the OP. There's this wonderful little link called "Your Content". You can reach it by mousing over your name at the top right of each page.

And yes, starting multiple threads on the same topic is not permitted. As such, closing.
