Here... let me help shorten it for you..

the butler did it, it was a sled, Darth is Luke's father, and Bruce Willis was actually dead the whole time...

(oh.. and they exchanged it for her for other stuff, so while not happy, she is at least less unhappy.. so it all turned out OK)

You forgot Hermione kills Dumbledore...

Too soon? ;)

I agree with the 'pack it up and take it back' advice! You didn't just over-pay you got robbed! You shouldn't pay over $50 (and that's being generous, IMO) for a Vamo regardless of the model...

You know, this is totally OT but I would never buy a Vamo simply because it looks weird to me. (Don't you see the two little eyes and the wide, screaming mouth? Ugh...)

No idea what cdp means lol.

A census designated place (CDP)[1][2][3] is a concentration of population identified by the United States Census Bureau for statistical purposes. CDPs are delineated for each decennial census as the statistical counterparts of incorporated places[4][5] , such as cities, towns, and villages. CDPs are populated areas that lack separate municipal government, but which otherwise physically resemble incorporated places.

CDPs are delineated solely to provide data for settled concentrations of population that are identifiable by name but are not legally incorporated under the laws of the state in which they are located. They include small rural communities, colonias located along the U.S. border with Mexico, and unincorporated resort and retirement communities.[6] The boundaries of a CDP have no legal status.[1] Thus, they may not always correspond with the local understanding of the area or community with the same name. However, criteria established for the 2010 Census requires that a CDP name "be one that is recognized and used in daily communication by the residents of the community" (not "a name developed solely for planning or other purposes") and recommends that a CDP's boundaries be mapped based on the geographic extent associated with residents' use of the place name.[6]

The U.S. Census Bureau states that census designated places are not considered incorporated places and that it only includes census designated places in Hawaii in its city population lists because that state has no incorporated cities.[7] In addition, census city lists from 2007 include Arlington County, Virginia's CDP in the list with the incorporated places.[8]

Pennysmalls, sorry you got ripped off, and yeah I mean ripped off. I've worked in a lot of stores. There should be no reason for charging that much of a mark up! Maybe $70-80 , but $150? Meh, live and learn. On the plus side: thanks to posting this thread, you know where to get the latest & greatest Vamo! At a way better price too :)

Yes, I did get lots of good leads! When I'm ready to buy I'll be revisiting this thread. I've worked in a specialty pet supply store of which has to compete with the big box brands like Pet Co and Pet smart. I got to hear and see lots about pricing and competition, bad business and great business. We would sometimes have to turn customers away because we didn't carry what they needed because our distributor was to expensive and we'd have to sell it at a ridiculous price to make a profit. Better to lead them to a more affordable store and save them money, even if that other store is a major competitor, than carry it at a ridiculous price.

Don't be too hard on yourself. AFter all most of us spent many THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS on smokes....and felt really stupid when we realized they were KILLING US slowly.

After that mistake, I'm not sure any of us can make any that are a whole lot worse?

So very true.

I'm all for people making a living. I'm not at all for the trend of people wanting to skip the whole "new business investment period" by making customers pay through their noses.

Setting up a business is a long term investment. I don't enjoy paying a premium for some schmuck to be able to play shop for a couple of months before blaming "the current economy" and "online competition" for going out of business.

And that's exactly what I think is going on with my local. He's playing shop. People will realize what he's doing then it will be all over.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but...

OP do you have a smartphone?

I just googled the word vamo on mine, first result was myvaporstore which has them around 50. I would of known right then the cost was inflated. I always do a 5 second research.

No, no smart phone. I seriously thought Vamo's would be on the expensive side because I've seen them mentioned so often here along with Provari's. I thought they were both supposed to be very expensive. So I assumed I was paying a little over but not by that much!
