Stupid Post Office

I placed an order with Halo on Friday 4/11. Since I am in NJ and so is Halo I generally get their orders the next day or at most 2 days later. When it didn't come today I checked the tracking info Halo sent me and found the Post Office had sent it from Pompton Plains NJ to Kearny NJ (the usual shipping route before it comes to my post office) and then to Santa Clarita California, where it was sent back today.

It's not Halo's fault. They shipped it to the right address. Some idiot at the post office must have thrown it in the wrong bin. I have about a day's worth of juice left so if it doesn't come tomorrow I am going to run out to a vape store and get something, though I really like Halo juices the best.

Last time this happened to me the post office sent my new cell phone to Puerto Rico and it took over two weeks to me.

Santa Clarita is my mails main sort office, maybe they were trying to send it to me.

Serious note... take this as a sign to convince your local vape shop to stock Halo, so you always know you have them as a ready reserve

Agree with you on post office incompetence. I started choosing UPS even though it costs more. Ground service to PA is often 2 days. The post office tracking doesn't update until my order has already been delivered. UPS isn't perfect - their tracking stated my Triton kit was out for delivery yesterday and it wasn't. Painful false hope! But at least their tracking updates regularly and mostly accurately.

We do need more local Halo distributors. I put in my request at my local shop!

I feel your USPS pain, friend.

Placed my order (before the 20% ran out, right??) on Saturday 11AM. Delivered Tuesday. Vaping as I write this, lol.

But, I had an order lost in Kearny for over 3 weeks! Halo was good with the situation. I called, and they sent a duplicate order out, got it in 3 days.

(And I'm honest. When the orig order finally showed up, I could have just kept quiet. I called Halo and arranged to pay for it.)

But Kearny is an insane mess. 130 shipping docks, enough interior square footage to hold 9 football fields. It is one of the major distribution hubs in the USPS.

Old thread I know but thought someone might get a kick out of this:

Ordered something from Europe. Checked USPS tracking on 5/8. Package was in Kearny. Oh good. I'll have it in a couple of days I sez to myself.. no way.

Just checked tracking again. It left Santa Clarita Yesterday.

That's just nuts.
