Ive been vaping for close to two years now and rebuilding for about five months. i do have a mod to measure resistance, One thing that i am missing is imr batteries. One of my many questions is, Which type of imr batteries are the best to use for sub ohm coil builds?

Great. :) For 18350 and 18490/18500 use AW IMR. For 18650 use AW IMR 1600mAh or Panasonic CGR18650PD(best)

Get some Kanthal 28 and 30 if don't have already. When setting up and testing the coils, use a partially drained battery.

Sub ohm coils is a subject that should never come up in a "noob" forum IMO. Way to dangerous for other than advanced users to even think about.

Many of the folks in this section are still figuring out the differences between Blu and an eGo.
To a degree.
Never say never.

OP, I see you say you have some experience. You should be fine. Also...don't skimp on batteries. A fuse wouldn't hurt either.

Please, PLEASE be careful.

Sub-ohm coils are DANGEROUS if you don't know what you're doing. Get a multimeter, don't use a mod as your meter for coils and batteries. Get GOOD batteries, AW IMR batteries fit the build but I would suggest MNKEs as that is all I use now.

Huge vapor and instant hitting are why I use sub-ohm coils, but I know what I am doing. I cannot stress how careful and educated on the subject you should be when getting into low resistance builds like these. This community does NOT need someone jumping into this club of 'extreme' vaping and hurting themselves, someone else, or their property by doing this pre-maturely.

Good source for the MNKE's please? This the safest chemistry to use with HD mech use?
