i just got a new mod variable wattage, sub ohm. A smok.. OSub 80 Watts baby.. with matching tank and atty. atty says .4 ohms on it and says in writing best at55-65 watts. Sooo I have 3mg/ml liquid. I vaped prob 2 tanks worth last night. Today it tastes like I am wearing a nicotine patch. I can taste the nic on my tounge. Is 3mg/ml really 3mg of nic per 1 ml of nicotine??? That would mean every ten messily ml of liquid contains 30mg of nicotine?! Please someone help me. I'm still on my morning cig. I forgot my charger at work, and smoked a cig.. and I got all sick, and my little Capri 120 tasted like I was trying to smoke 3 cigars.

In every tank at even 3mg/ml streamgth. Today I woke up, forgot my charger and tried to have a cig. My tounge tastes like I'm wearing a nicotine patch. It taste like my little Capri 120 was 5 cigars. I vaped last last night, it's almost midnight now... still tastes like that... like I'm wearing a nic patch or sucking on one. Someone please help me out. I can't imagine someone vaping at 6mg/ml if sub ohm. Unless they just take one puff every few hours.
I don't think it is the nicotine. I subohm 3 mg all the time and no problem. Have done 6 mg and no problem other than it was too much nicotine for me.

I've been using six nicotine for around a year or so I've never had that taste before from the nicotine. However I've had some e-liguids that leave a horrible taste in my mouth before, the same sensation that a strong cigar has after you finish smoking one. Nicotine is tasteless if you consume too much you get nausea and at worst a headache, from my experience.
Thank you for the reply. It's definitely not the flavor of you have used too much nic or tried to quit without ecig.. and put a patch on. Then you l k ow taste I am talking about. How many ml do you guys usually go through in a night. I had it up to 58W, So I'm guessing the nic absorbion was higher. Can I get some sub ohm normal ml amount gone through in a night?
I sub ohm almost exclusively. I generally use 3 mg nicotine, and can easily go through anywhere between 30-60 mls a day. If you're getting a harsh hit, check your vg to pg ratio-it could be that your pg is too high.
nicotine has a spicy kind of flavor to it. but it's barely noticeable at 3 mg. it sounds like either the coils are starting to get gunked or your just getting sick of the flavor.

If I vape a lot and don't drink enough water, I sometimes notice a plastic taste (for lack of a better description), I've always assumed it's the VG mixed with a little vape tongue but I only notice it with certain flavors usually RY4 types, so could be the flavoring.

I could go through about 20-30 ml with BB coils before flavor went south using mildly flavored juice. Another 10-20 ml after a boil-clean.
Coffee, bakery flavors and cereals about half that. Those Beast tanks and coils DRINK juice.
But they're very good at soothing the nic cravings. Those and the Subtanks were the key to my giving up the combustibles.
to be more specific it was the tfv8 coil heads, and I am a bakery flavor fiend so that probably factored in.

I just got this smoke 80 baby with this tank. Strongest mod I've EVER had. I've been vaping on and off for a long time. I love bakery flavs. I was cigs against and vaped a good 30-49 mos that first night. It's been 3 days and I was going to do the morning cig thing. Which had worked for me in the past, for 2 weeks u til going all vape. I can't smoke a cig, it taste like I'm sucking on a patch.. ya know, when nic is high I. Your blood stream... you try n smoke a cig and it tastes like ammonia and a battery zap?? This is a strong atty. I have a feeling I got a lot of nic. But I got my liquid from a tabacco shop local and didn't watch him mix it.. I'm about to go there now and let him know I'm nicd out and to show me how me mixed it. I. Seriously though, I'm betting something wasn't mixed right. I had a bottle from a local store that did some of the signs of too much nic. It was a custard and it tasted like black pepper. Against knowing better vaped on it, bad idea, found out it was 8mg. Now that's not too high but at .3, in an RDA, and chain vaping.....it sucked. The little girl felt so bad when I went in there, I ended up having to tell her boss to back off her.
Yes, it's 3 milligrams of nicotine per milliliter of liquid ("weight by volume"). What gear and juice were you using before the new setup? 3mg is on the low end already, but most people do use a lower nicotine level when they switch to sub-ohm so if you were using that on, say a pen-style setup then you might want to look at getting some 1.5mg, if it's available in your flavors. (Or you could get some zero-nic and mix it with your 3mg; equal parts will make 1.5mg, or you can mix different ratios to get anywhere in between. Make sure to shake it up real well after mixing so you don't get any "hot spots" with more nic than the rest of the bottle.)
I haven't used a pen style vape thing in 10 years... I was on a ....tier Eleaf pico. Not ....ty at all, but not this powerful. These attys kick .... I'm thinking this is a low quality juice... I was vaping 6mg/ml and it worked quite nicely for me smoking through tanks. So I'm vaping at 55W... should I stick with 1.5mgs?? Or less.. I guess the true wattage was lower when hitting the pico because I got really sick for vaping a few tanksnof this stuff. Like I said I also think this is a really bad ejuice.
