Sub-ohm vaping? I like it, but am I doing it right??

Do what you like man. vaping is an individual experience. The only wrong way to subohm is battery unsafe builds in a mech mod.

I use 0.5 ohm coils BUT I always vape at about 14-16 watts. I hate any higher.

I read threads about sub-ohm vaping and everyone talks about at least 50W, if not higher. I've tried it and it about killed me! Found it very unpleasant.

So I went back and tried non-sub-ohm vaping, and it doesn't taste half as good, so I've stuck with 0.5 ohm coils but leave it at 14-16 watts.

Is this normal or am I batsh1t crazy?

I vape my twisted .5 ohms at 17 watts.

Wow I'd forgotten I'd even posted this thread... been absent for a few days.

But good news in that normally within any week I'd probably have a dirty analogue, due to bad planning/inebriation, and hate myself for it. Now I've gone a whole month pure vape, and that even includes going to an all-day outdoor drinking music festival, with friends I rarely see who all smoke analogues and were offering me them. I'd came prepared with spare batts and juice (and even a spare coil becuase you never know when those pesky things will die on you)

I use an Innokin Sub Abex S tank on either a coolfire iv or a kanger subox mini (the latter being my field device as I can swap the batts). Currently using 1.2mg 60VG/40PG liquid but planning on moving to 0.6 on my next batch.

I rarely go above 25 on my RBA's at 0.5 and I usually don't crack 30 on my Doge V2 dripper at the same ohms. It's all about what makes you happy with vaping.

i always run less than 30 watts on simple builds. any higher its gets really hot and slightly burnt.

Maybe I'm just a mean Scotsman, bu* I run GS Airs @ 2.26v/7.8w and 0.78 Ohm coils last for about 8 -10 weeks with clear home made juices 16-18 strength.
