Hi,
Not sure why it took me this long to join ECF. I began vaping in 2009 and have continued up to now. When I first started I was an all day vaper. Now I only vape in the evenings or just when I'm having brews. I was not familiar w sub ohm vaping until recently. I upgraded from an egrip to an Evic VT with a Kangertech Subtank Mini. I really like my setup but have noticed the day after an evening of vaping my throat is irritated and I have coughing fits. I never had this issue on a smaller device like my egrip. I've tried different juices w various pg/vg ratios and switched to 3mg nicotine. Have others had this experience with sub ohm vaping? Maybe my throat and lungs can't handle this type of vape? Maybe I just need to quit? Easier said than done. I look forward to my evening vapes!

Any advice, tips, comments are appreciated!

Yes, 0.5 vertical coil

Love them. I have 0.5 horizontals right now cause my local shop didn't have any of the occ vertical ones in. Such a travesty!

I imagine reducing the watts will help a fair bit but you might also play with the airflow to find your perfect setting. We're all different. But for sure 40w is a bit high. Kind of a just because you can doesn't mean you should scenario.

Hmm, then like @TheDaughterOfTyr said, definitely try dropping the wattage. I'd say go with 25 and work your way up to what is to your liking. It just takes a little tinkering to find your sweet spot.

Oh for sure. I usually rock mine at 25 in the morning and slowly increase through the day. 30W is my prime vaping zone haha.
