No offense @HarryW but you don't need 60 or 80 watts to quit the smokes. Also, just so you know your 'Corsa mini 80w' is a Totally Wicked rebranded product which is a joyetech Cuboid mini.
I ordered one two weeks ago for about £26. Should you want another one be sure to shop around, eh?

I knew it was a rebranded something, just not what of. I'd be upset paying twice the price for the same unit just with a different name on it.

Regulated mods are not so much a problem

The problem is mech mods particularly faux hydrids.. Mechs where the 510 makes direct contact with the battery.

If you have a good 18650 20 amp battery Samsung, LG, or Sony yoy can safelt vape at .25 ohm.

If you want to go stupid low .1 or .05 ohms you need a super battery.
Resistance doesn't factor into the amp draw on a regulated device, watts do. A 20-amp battery is good up to about 60w no matter the resistance. OP has a device with a built in battery so it's safe to assume that it's good up to the full 80w it can do.

Hello my names Harry and I am Brand new to the sub ohm vaping scene... in using a smok baby beast with a 0.4ohm coil and a corsa mini battery/mod thingy(can you tell I'm new yet)
Only vaping to quit smoking. My corsa mini goes up to 80 watts.
The 0.4ohm coil says I'm good to vape up too 100 watts. But best at 55-65W. I just want to make sure it won't blow up in my face and if there's anything I can do to prevent my eye brows from disappearing
Welcome and glad you joined. Common sense and reading below is your best bet when it comes to safety.

Is it really safe to assume on a rebranded Chinese product from China? I mean who would ever have thought someone could add melamine to baby formula and think it was a good idea?
Joyetech/Wismec/Eleaf make very good mods and have a good reputation so yes, safe to assume. Not everything from China (the overwhelming majority of mods, including ones with DNA chips, are made in China) is bad quality, and not everything made in Europe or the US is good quality.

I work in a custom build shop for industrial equipment. We have machinests, welders, builders, electricians, designers, etc. I see custom maching, fancy electronics, etc. every day. In my opinion the Chinese are doing a magnificent job of making our stuff, and outstanding value for the dollar. There are luxury mods, atomizers, etc that are "better" and cost 10 times the money. I'm not a customer for that stuff. I'm not a machinist but I measure and cut, drill and tap, every day. The Chinese want to be the best producers of ecig devices in the world and they are. What I tell the guys in the shop is how about we make the machines and the Chinese can operate them. Everybody prefers that to the reverse.

Thank you all very much, I'm from the UK and I got the corsa mini off a website, I think it was from totally wicked.com :) as long as my eye brows are safe I am happy

Hi harry. I'm from here/there too. London first, now the West Country.
Everyone has given you advice and tips on your battery but I've got a different question...

Why are your eyebrows the most important thing on your face???

Are you vaping something not made in China? If so what?

I thought nearly every product minus a few was made in China? I think everyone has something to do with china. Otherwise you pay big money for provape/vaporshark/Gus/GP?

Yeah I know, they must be some beauties

I can't be bothered to trawl through any more pictures of eyebrows but who'd have thought there were a need for eyebrow barbers...
