Personally, I only use direct-to-battery style mods that do not have top contact pins. From a design standpoint it makes the most sense to directly connect the atomizer to the battery and adjust the battery rattle at the switch, NOT the top pin. Adjustable top contact pins are a "lazy" way to adjust for battery rattle and I HATE any mod that uses a two piece top contact to adjust for rattle. My usual rotation includes eight mods, all of which are hybrid/direct to battery connection and all of which are built below .18 ohms, body material matters less to me than the precision of the machining. Brass, Stainless and Copper are in my rotation and each one hits just as well as the next.
