I am the the same boat as you guys, learning sub ohms. I too have a good bit of 24mg juice to play with on alot of new RDAs i got for Christmas. I am headed to town tomorrow to get some plain VG and plan to try a dilute it to these specs to start with.

I have never gotten into sub ohming part of vaping but I am sure there is a simple solution because there are so many people who do enjoy it. I'm sure someone who knows will come along and help you. And I want to learn a little bit more about it too. That is why ecf is so special. Always something new to learn. Have fun and I look forward to reading what helps you. BTW, there is absolutely nothing wrong with just not liking it. What it is all about is finding what makes you the happiest.

A lot of people dont like to sub ohm everything is more intense when you get into low res. high power vaping. Sometimes too intense. It seems common and like everyone is doing it when you hop on a forum but thats mainly because a lot of people that are active on forums are the more hobbiest types in my opinion. I have a few drippers hated it, the vape wasn't cool enough, lungs never really adjusted to lung hits etc. etc. I have an atlantis and find its a good middle ground. You just gotta know what your vape style is. Im friends with the owners of a B&M and one owner only drips only runs coils .5 and lower the other uses evods and nautilus tanks and wont touch a dripper with a 10 foot drip tip lol.

It could also be that you just have to adjust your vape style and you might enjoy it more. If you mouth to lung try lowering the nic and direct lung inhales, play with the power, I vape my atlantis at 20 watts sometimes 25-27 some people vape it at 40 watts. There is no easy answer because theres so much diffrent things involved.

Sorry to get long winded just putting my opinion out there.

Im an ex hookah smoker, lh are my bread and butter. It is a whole new ball game when you go from mouth inhaling to lung hitting. Flavors are much more intense (usually too much) when you're inhaling 5-10x more vapor. What tastes good with a mouthful is sometimes serious overkill when youre taking in a chest full

.8 ohm to me though sub ohm vapes more like a normal ohm range to me. Its one of my preferred builds for a kayfun and a couple others, but to me its worlds apart than .5 ohm and lower, to me once you cross the .6 range the vape goes from warm and full, to hot and fast lol sometimes its too much for me unless im really in the mood for it.

What is different than the melo vs the Atlantis? Are the coils cheaper than the aspire brand? I'm trying to find ways to save money now that I switched to the Atlantis and am going through juice like crazy.

Anything with less than 70VG gags me in the Atlantis. 3-6mg nic seems ok though.

Aspire currently only offers .5ohm coils for the Atlantis. The new Eleaf MELO tank coils might be offered in 1ohm+ and they do fit the Atlantis too. They should be coming out in a few more days.

The main difference I see in the coil is the wicking material. Aspire uses a mystery material, while eLeaf is using organic cotton in the melo coils.

I would guess the MSRP of the melo coils may be slightly cheaper than the Atlantis ones, they are kinda pricey. We'll have to wait until they come out to see where all the prices settle.

you can rebuild for pennies each, not to mention customize to your specific sweet spot, my builds last longer and taste better to me. I use rayon wicking.
