Nautilus to Atlantis - Would I change Nic levels?

I've always done 12mg of Nic with all of my many juices, using the nautilus Mini or Silo tanks. I've been thinking about getting an Atlantis, and was about to pull the trigger until it occurred to me- since it's a sub tank....will my usual 12 be too strong?

I just know that I wouldn't use 12 on a RBA, so I'm wondering where the Atlantis falls on the spectrum.

I asked a very similar question recently. It's more based on the wattage you plan to vape the Atlantis at, than the resistance of the coil. But I'm assuming you'll be up at 20-30+ watts (which is recommended) for the Atlantis, in which case yes, you'd want to use lower nic juice. Popular recommendations are to cut it approximately in half. I normally vape 18 mg juice and it was recommended that I go to something like a 6. Hope this helps, sir!

I would recommend lowering you nic level and even the amount of PG. I was using 12mg in the Nautilus and dropped down to 6mg in the Atllantis with 65VG or higher.

Yes, change your nic levels. I came from the same setup doing 12mg, and it's seriously puke-inducing on the Atlantis at 20w+. I've found that I get great results on 3mg now, as it lets me chain vape at 25-30w with those great clouds and flavour, and it's what I run while at home. For outside the house, 6mg is good for quick hits, like on a smoke break or something, but it will start to effect me if I try to chain vape it.

I also bought a Subtank, and I switched it to the 1.2 ohm head to let me use up my stock of 12mg juice without having to .... around with diluting it...and even then, 12mg at 1.2 ohms/15W is on the strong side.

So I might consider some even as low as 3mg- interesting. I'll do some experiments thanks.

Yes but going down in your nicotine level is not a bad thing is it ?

You could always buy 0 % nic of your preferred juice and add 1/2 to each tank or use separate bottles.

I had to cut from the usual 12mg in my Nautilus to 6mg for the Atlantis. I made the mistake of trying 12mg in the Atlantis and it was pretty powerful.

I did too. I got some Charlie Nobles custard in 12mg and the nic was WAY to harsh on my throat (peppery). Its over 70VG too but still too much for me.

I found some 1 ohm coils for the Atlantis on FT i might try just to see if it helps.
