I'm just an ordinary vaper. Two years in an been mixing my own juice for a year. I thought I would try a subtank mini as I wanted a tank with a good capacity and rebuildable deck. Now I went in a different direction to most. I build coils at about 2.5 ohm. I find it very easy and after some practice I have got the wicking sorted as well. I was never going to sub ohm and I use an istick mini to drive it. My experience is, super flavour, loads of vapour and only need attention ance a week or longer. I love it.

It's a matter of preference, convenience and everything has it's own application. I have a Dark Horse RDA on a variable voltage variable wattage Megatron 260. I do a 24 gauge 12 wrap dual coil coming in at .5ohms. Works great, great flavor and cloud production. I use it at home and at the vape shop. But when I'm driving it's a pain to try and drip and vape. Lots of traffic up here also. That's where my sub ohm tank comes in. I have the High Voltage sub ohm tank. It's the best tank in my opinion out there. Then again that's my preference and opinion. I run it at 40-50 watts. I can tell you from experience (not guessing) It's right there with the Dark Horse in clouds and flavor. If I really want to bring out underlying flavors in a juice I bump it up to 60 watts. So it may not be that everything sucks, it's just that everything has it's particular use and people have their reasons and preferences for using it. Again all of this is just my opinion. Yours may differ. Everyone out there Have A Nice Day and Happy Easter if it's a day you celebrate.

I was at a vape shop today , I tried all different kinds of stuff , i tried the Atlantis , I tried the melo and few others i dont remember their names . Well they all sucked . 2 days ago I got a subtank , my initial rating was 6.5 , then for a few minutes it changed to 8.5 and now it is 2/10 , it is terrbile . My normal setup which is pretty much Kayfun for mouth hits and amazing flavor and Orchid ( Lemo is good too I tried it ) for lung hits . This beats absolutely everything else on the market today, period . I was planning to give these "subohm" tanks a shot and they are disgusting , anything made by Kanger , Ego , Eleaf in terms of atomizers has always sucked . On top of that many of these subohm tanks dont even have a rebuildable section , thats how bad they are . Terrible taste , bad smoke production on all , more money to spend on them on top of that , they all get a 2/10 , screw them .

Disagree. I can't speak for the rest, but the Subtank Mini is probably the best tank I own or have tried, at least when using the RBA section. The flavor is about as good as my Kayfun and certainly better than the Orchids.

I think tarring all subohm clearos with the same brush is a bit unfair IMO. As others have said, the subtank mini is actually a decent tank with good airflow and flavour. It's not my daily driver and when I do use it it's usually with the RBA, but to have the option of using the OCCs is nothing but a boon - it gives people options.

I recently got a good friend of mine to switch to vaping with a Subtank Mini, he loves the OCCs and is now starting to wrap his own coils using the RBA deck and is really enjoying it, all with no extra investment on his part except a cheap spool of kanthal. He's now talking about getting an RDA.

What I'm saying is I think these products definitely have their place in the market, for beginners or for those who aren't interested in/dont always have the time for rebuilding.
Each to their own!

the original subtank RBA sucks , I ordered a mini RBA hopefully it works on my Subtank ( non mini )

also rebuildables + DYI juice which I will be doing in a week cuts down the bills on vaping so much it is ridiculous AND you are getting superior taste and vapor

Why would you order a Subtank Mini if you think Kanger and all "sub ohm" tanks suck?

You have zero credibility. Best of luck to you.

rounding third and heading home...
for those of us with limited use of our hands an rba is not an option. i have tried a variety of the new subohm tank/coil systems and ihave had few, if any, problems with any of them. the atlantis, subtank, melo, etc. have all produced great flavor and (more importantly) ease of use. some of the coils woek in more than one tank. the melo coil works in the atlantis. i guess if you clean everything thoroughly, follow instructions, don't over tighten, and have the proper mod/battery matched to the tank along with the proper airflow set to the way you vape then everything works as designed. vaping around .5 ohms has helped me enjoy my e-liquids as i never could before-the taste compared to the "old" method of a 1.5 coil in a tank is so superior for me. i guess if you had a bad experience or don't know what you are doing then it would be bad- isn't that true with anything not just vaping? posting a blanket statement about how horrible they are says more about you than about the equipment....it has always been that way.....

great title to lure in trolls/start a flame war.
whatever ur opinion its ur opinion not necessarily a correct one.
saying theyre all "garbage" is a pretty opinionated term not necessarily a review of the multiltude of subohm clearomizers,
subohm really has nothing todo w/clearomizers, as they are all still considered clearomizers/atomizers, theyre either going to be good at "atomizing" a liquid or theyre not.
i luv both my stmini rba's, i dont like my old naut minis anymore because of the stmini, im done w/buying premade coils.
imho, ymmv, to each their own, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, etc etc...

I stopped buying clearos with premade coils after the Aerotank Mega (which to me, was a piece of crud). I had a million protank 2 minis, a nautilus, and another kanger tank (can't for the life of me remember if it was the aerotank or not). All had their set of issues.

They all leaked or didn't want to wick at all. Problems with flavor. I got so fed up I bought my first Kayfun and never looked back. Even with all the improvements, I won't buy another clearo. If I want sub-ohm I'll just build it.

I love the orchid v4 and up (I have 3 Orchids). Lemo is okay as well. My Kayfun was all I used for probably 5 straight months and still works, though I prefer more airflow now.

Not to say that the new tanks are no good. I've seen them in action and people enjoy them. The quality has improved drastically. To me though, not worth the money for what I can just build. Not everyone WANTS to build though.

Basically, if you don't want them, don't buy them. They aren't for me. However, even though the Orchid is my favorite RTA, a lot of people hate it. Doesn't make the Orchid a piece of garbage, and for some people those sub-ohm clearos are working just fine.

I have to agree. The OP has had a bad experience it seems. OP, you should try the Maganus tank with something that can throw 150W. It'll blow your socks off and that sad little Kayfun and Orchid will sit idle.
Well, one of the nice things about a kayfun is that you can throw 10-12w at it and it'll still put out really good flavor and throat hit depending on the build.

I tend to run my v4 at 19w and for me its a really good vape

The subtank mini seems impressive to me. I just couldn't see buying one over a lemo or kayfun personally. I could definitely see why others might.

1) In Pbusardo's video he demonstrates that the mini RBA can't be used with the original subtank.

2) Eleaf makes the lemo.

3) The goblin or silverplay beats the pants off the lemo and orchid for lung hits.

I agree on the Goblin. This little tank (using the v2, 1.5, or what ever they call it, longer glass and chimney) has been almost flawless. Good flavor and plenty of "fog" on the room. I have another, along with the Goliath, that will be here Monday.
