I am a cloud chaser and I am not a kid....do I have a problem or I should go back to old ego twist and crappy Vivi nova tank?

Me too.
I'm not fresh into vaping, but for when you can't or don't have time to rebuild/rewick, I think these tanks are a great idea.
I'm buying my first one today after work.

I was at a vape shop today , I tried all different kinds of stuff , i tried the Atlantis , I tried the melo and few others i dont remember their names . Well they all sucked . 2 days ago I got a subtank , my initial rating was 6.5 , then for a few minutes it changed to 8.5 and now it is 2/10 , it is terrbile . My normal setup which is pretty much Kayfun for mouth hits and amazing flavor and Orchid ( Lemo is good too I tried it ) for lung hits . This beats absolutely everything else on the market today, period . I was planning to give these "subohm" tanks a shot and they are disgusting , anything made by Kanger , Ego , Eleaf in terms of atomizers has always sucked . On top of that many of these subohm tanks dont even have a rebuildable section , thats how bad they are . Terrible taste , bad smoke production on all , more money to spend on them on top of that , they all get a 2/10 , screw them .

Eleaf makes the lemo. Just saying.

I am not a kid either and me Ego is not crappy :)

And I bet dollars to donuts you are satisfied with that ego am I right?
General question/statement:
Why does it matter what people are using, as long as you're not smoking, as long as you're content and satisfied, who cares.
Vape on and don't smoke my friends.

and I am being absolutely honest , I dont really care about corporate puppets on these forums

So for anyone planning to buy one of those and is new to vaping , dont !!! Get yourself these 2 bad boys .

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1559100 - Kayfun
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10009514/2030700-orchid-v6-styled-rta-rebuildable-tank-atomizer - Orchid

or

https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10011393/1981101-authentic-eleaf-lemo-rta-rebuildable-tank - Lemo instead of the Orchid

Funny how everything (in terms of atomizers) made by eleaf supposedly "sucks", yet the Lemo is amazing. Kind of ironic that the Lemo is made by none other than eleaf...

In any case, while I don't care for your attitude, thanks for the suggestions. I'm always looking for recommendations for great atomizers.

If you are having So Many Problems with So Many Different devices,,, It's time to take a look in the mirror...

The very First Step in Successful Troubleshooting is,,, Eliminating the USER as the SOURCE of the PROBLEM !!!

Exactly. Vaping is not like smoking in that it takes virtually no skill or maintenance to smoke a cig but vaping does require a bit more skills and maintenance to keep things going well.

Watch videos on cleaning and using your devices on youtube.

Absolutely. My Ego style batteries work fine for me. And I will likely never spend over $20 for an atomizer of any type.
I ordered 10 $3.15 EVOD clone glass clearos and 20 coils from Fastech. I will let you know how they work out.

I do however enjoy my vaping. I do have a 3,000+ watt passthru with KR808 threading. Having trouble finding an atomizer to fit 808 and handle the wattage though :)

I salvaged 808 connector from a battery and hooked up to LARGE variable voltage bench power supply.

with rba things get better, same flavor but still... it is a nice tank but maybe not for me, at least not right now

This has probably been repeated but I think they are great for people who just don't have the confidance in them to build their own coils or may have shaky hands and want to experince sub ohming. $30 bucks a pop for a new subtank really isn't that much money to begin with, what's annoying is the price of the coil heads if you ask me. But Subohm tanks are getting better and coil heads are getting cheaper. Vape on what makes you happy if you ask me, I love my subtank mini.

Hi,
I bought a Subtank Mini ~2 weeks ago ,I thought it'd be a lil easier to make coils for than the PT Minis & Evod tanks I'd been using up until then and it is.It's just a tad airy for me at the moment but I'm sure I'll get it to where I want with a bit of fiddling,I don't mind that either, kinda fun really.Vaping it at 2.2 ohms,5.6 watts.

I am a noob as well. I got off vaping because I could not get the satisfaction I found from cigarettes. I tried an MVP2 and Nautilus Mini and that was the best I found. I went to a local B&M and they talked me into an Atlantis and a Sub Ohm battery (VV/VW) and it definitely helped.

I went back and they talked me into an original Kanger Subtank. Now I have the best of what I need. I get the flavor I was missing and the feeling of smoking that I didn't get before. I am smoke free again and that should be the point. I am also using an Istick 50 so there's that.

I didn't want to be a cloud chaser as we are not allowed to vaoe at work. All I wanted was the experince of smoking that I was missing. These items imparted hat on me and if I hadn't tried them I would still be smoking.

Sometimes marketing to the noobs creates the experence or transition to better things. If I still only had the Nautilus I would have never quit.

One noob's opinion,
Sean

All you guys who have a fetish for sub ohm tanks are newb vapors who fall ill due to the advertising. You can say this or that but a true rta is where it's at or even rda but we are comparing tank systems! Vaping isn't about "cloud production" and you all are the downfall of the vape world in the public eye!

Wow... you must be very pretty. And FYI, don't flatter yourself, pretty is a euthanism for something else.

Ok now on topic....
The Subtank is nice. The Atlantis works nice. As a vet with over 2 years vaping and almost as much experience with rebuildables, these sub ohm tanks are very cool. My wife uses an Atlantis and loves how easy it is for her to fill and swap out coils. I recently put away my RDAs and am trying out the Subtank. So far I like it. It doesn't leak, it gets good cloud and flavor production, no need to drip while driving, and it works very well. What is there not to like?

Thread has no real focus. Arguing opinions doesn't really make any progress.

There are many products to cater to many people, we should be happy about the options.

I'm sorry OP, but the truth is most of these products do work. If you feel that a RBA works better than another similar RBA then you may have had a bad experience.

Your example of the Orchid being a better RBA than the Golbin is a pure example. Both are very similar and when set up correctly, and I mean working condition, they both perform well. Perform well as in vape without dry hits and do not leak or flood.

Different products for different people.
