Maybe try rebuilding it at about 0.5ohms and you can run it at higher wattage :)
I've just recoiled it at my local vape shop and its still at 0.7 ohm. And it sometimes goes up to 1.0 ohm and then go back down to 0.7, never lower than that. The reason why i sent it to the shop is because i dont know how to recoil by myself. Should i go back to the vape shop and ask them to recoil? Any specific thing i should say to them?

i have a subox mini and im using the rba at 0.9 ohms. I cant go above 20 watts or i will get dry hits. I see so many people vapes at higher watts without any problem. Does anyone knows what could be causing this?

Getting a Dry Hit is Caused by 1 of Both of the following.

1 - Not Enough Wicking.

2 - Not Enough Air Flow.

Most of the time, people find the Air Flow that they Like and don't change it much. So that leaves a person with Wicking.

Here are a Few things that might Help with wicking...

If you are using High Vg e-Liquids, thin the e-Liquid with a Drop of Two of Water per tank. Do a Small Test Batch to see if this Helps. DON'T thin all of your e-Liquids until you have done a Test Batch.

Try Using a Little Less Wicking Material.

If you are using the Original RBA Deck with the e-Liquid Slots in the base, enlarge the slots Slightly (maybe 50% Wider and 50% Deeper) with the edge of a Jewelry File.

If you are using the New RBA Deck with the holes in the side of the RBA Barrel, take a Straight Pin or Small Needle and make a Small Hole between the Wick Material and the edges of the e-Liquid holes in the Barrel.

Try a Different Wick Material.

Sounds like the wick has been scorched/burned. Even a little bit of that will make everything taste nasty until it's changed.
Rewick the atty and and start low with the wattage. Move the wattage up until you're happy with the vape, and don't go any higher.

Welcome to ECF BTW!
I'll try to rewick it. Btw, why am i not getting the big clouds like the guys that did review on the subox mini? Am i doing something wrong?

Make sure you have the wicking proper first. Also make sure you have the correct battery in your mod. If those things are correct and your airflow is set properly then you should have similar results on the vid reviews. They may be using a higher VG juice in the videos.

Im using a 70/30 vg/ pg juice. Can the coil affect the amount of clouds produced?

Im gonna have to ask the shop tomorrow as i dont know what type of wire they are using.

It is Most Likely Kanthal A-1. That is what Most Places sell if a person does Ask for a Specific Alloy.

If the Insulator is not the Problem, you might consider getting a small spool of NiChrome 80 wire for like 4 Bucks and trying it.

Some People prefer the Taste of it over Kanthal A-1.

sure it can.......... I don't know what coil they are using in the video but if your resistance is the same as theirs and your wicking is proper they you should get similar results. Since you are getting dry hits then I would say to work on your wicking before anything else.

After i changed the cotton, i applied some juice on it and the coil then i burned it. My question is, when im burning it the coil was not supposed to turn red as if it was heated right?

If you are trying to Clean the Coil by applying Power to it, we call that "Dry Burning".

Here are the Steps most people use to do it...

    1 - REMOVE the Wick.

2 - Rinse the RBA/Coil with Warm Tap Water.

3 - Blow and Shake the RBA/Coil to get it Dry.

4 - Set you Mod to a Low Watts, 8 Watts or so.

5 - Connect the RBA to the Base and then to the Mod.

6 - Push the Power Button for 2 Seconds or So. Then Let Off. Keep Doing until No Smoke comes off the Coil. You Don't have to make the Coil shine Red constantly. But if it does so Briefly, that is OK.

7 - Let the RBA / Coil cool for a moment or so.

8 - Rinse the RBA/Coil with Warm Tap Water.

9 - Blow and Shake the RBA/Coil to get it Dry.

    10 - Rewick the Coil.

    11 - Prime the Coil/Wick with a Few Drops of e-Liquid.

12 - Reassemble everything. Fill the Tank. Take few hits without Inhaling.

13 - Raise Watts back to what you Normally vape it and you are Ready to Go.

ETA: NEVER Attempt to do this type of Dry Burning when there is a Wick in the Coil !!!
