Hi @Morgan214817 and welcome to the forum. I wouldn't worry about the .6 ohm reading, factory coils are mass produced and can vary by .1 or .2 at times. If the coil is a true .56 it will read .6. The resistance will or can change with usage too.

I hate to ask these questions...but
What battery are you using in the Subbox?
Did you wick the rba?

Bumping for more opinions as to the issue.

Yes I wicked it, didn't work. Took out some cotton, played with it. Still it's saying the same thing.

I'm using Sony VCT4s. Ones newer than the other.

I hate that you're having this issue but it's about as far as I can go with any help. Hopefully someone else can come in and give a different/better answer.

You have good batteries, so thats ruled out. (unless the battery is a re wrapped bad battery/weak clone) The RBA is wicked so thats ruled out. I don't recall if my Subtanks came with extra rba coils, but if you know how to build a coil and have the correct wire you could try replacing the coil in the rba. If it was shorted it would have a different message than High temp.

If the Subbox has worked with the factory coils then the issue is in the rba itself and not the mod. The only thing I would know to do with the mod is to check the 510 connection is clean from juice (q tip) and that the pin isn't over compressed or cocked to one side (which I believe would read "no atty" or "check atomizer").

I've had hotspots in my coils before but I haven't had one to the degree it would cause the mod to read high temp.

Bumping.

I just took it to the shop I bought it at and had to drop it off. Went to get some juice, and take out the 1.5ohm head I had been using and go back to the .5 coil head. Well now even with the .5 coil head on it it's reading high temp. So I left it with the "expert" and will be going back in the next couple of hours.
Sure is a bummer.
When it works I love it lol
