I'm running a 28g kanthal 6wrap dual coil(.88) build on my stillare with an mxjo battery. While the coil is significantly higher than what my local vape shop builds (.4 or lower) I'm getting measly vapor production. Like worse than my vivinova and itaste vv setup. And no flavor either. Any suggestions? Battery is fully charged etc.

Assuming. you're running a mechanical mod, and that there are no defects in the mod, my guess is your battery. I would look for 25-35 amp batteries and try again.
Could be the coils themselves and how you built them, where you have them positioned in relation to the airholes, how it's wicked and what you used for wick, etc. A picture would definitely help you to get a better diagnosis.

If you have a multimeter and know how to use it, check your voltage output; if that is okay, check to make sure your coils are making good contact. You may have a short.
If using a decent mechanical, with a fully charged high drain battery, all that's really left is build quality! Even at 1.4 in a Kraken, I get massive vapor production. Make absolutely sure you have a legitimate high drain battery like the Sony VTC series, or a Samsung 25R. It's also important that the mod itself is clean at every contact surface. I'd be looking at the build myself.
