so if there are any kind souls who would want to donate, trade for my soul or share with me where i can get a similar pin, etc please get in touch with me.... dont want to let it go just like that as it has sentimental value =P

this has caused my ohm to jump like crazy.... and no its definitely not cos of the posts being loose or the post screw not being tight enough, i can actually see a gap between the two pins through my airhole

I think the flanged part of the copper pin is suppose to be on the inside of the base and not on the outside of the 510 pin if your drawing is accurate.

Try turning the pin upside down ;)
Nah, the flange is supposed to be outside, it's the thing that's pressing onto the insulator (much like the removable stopper found on the occ heads) and it stops the whole pin from going into the base when pushed or installing it onto the mod...

I've read that turning the pin upside down sometimes help. Sorry it didnt help you :(

Perhaps your insulator moved, does the center pin protrude more than normal? Can you tap it in while its in contact with the insulator to push it up into the base some more to make contact with your coil head.

Other than that I'm out of ideas, good luck mate :)

Neh. .. might be the position of the inner fittings that cause the misalignment of the connector. if all else fails... last resort is to get a spare connector and replace it. or a spare base. or solder a contact in between.. but that might sacrifice a little on create a little more resistance across the setup.
