SUBTANK MINI..DO I NEED TO CHANGE COILS WHEN I CHANGE JUICE FLAVORS

Im using kanger subtank mini and im wanting to try different juices but dont want to keep changing coils..is it ok to keep same coil and just wash the tank before putting a new flavor in...thanks

Sure you can use the old coil. The flavor of the juice will remain for several vapes (in my experience about maybe 10 or so), although some juices with very strong flavors will hang around a bit longer.

Yes. There will be a slight changeover period where the flavors blend but eventually your new flavor will take over. That is unless your older flavor is super powerful. Worst case give it a rinse with warm/hot tap water, then reinstall it with your new flavor. It will be really weak until the water evaporates but will then pick up to normal.

give the head a couple of quick pulses should burn off any old juice. Just don't burn the cotton. like I did

I don't change my coils until they burn out. If I had a flavor I absolutely despised, I'll try to dry burn the flavor off by burning the coil without any new juice on it until it's nice and glowy again.

It will also depend on the juice. I ran a tank of Suicide Bunny's Madrina through my subtank and it took soaking the rubber seals in rubbing alcohol to get the taste of melon out of them. They kept "flavoring" the new juice. I still have a bit of it showing up in the straight menthol I have in the tank right now, but I figured out that it is the seal in the top of the RBA chimney that absorbed the flavor as well. I'll soak that the next time I break it down for a wick change.

Short answer: NO
Long answer: NO, unless you are mixing flavors that would taste horrible together or you don't want any trace of the previous flavor in the coil. Instead of changing coils you could also just thoroughly wash the tank and the coil and let it dry and then re-prime the coil with your new flavor before refilling.
