Subtank Mini Fail ???

Using V2's and a V1 now and then, keep one in my back pocket and one in the side pocket. Constant moving, lifting, jumping and sitting on the things and no leaks. I do use acrylic bell caps and rayon wick if that's any help.

I know some people are all "I use Rip Tripper's method on the new deck and it's fine" but I think it's totally unsuited for the V2 deck. The whole point of that pancake wicking method is to leave open space for the tiny juice channels on the old deck. With the new deck and it's big mid-chimney juice holes I think you for sure need to get those covered with cotton, just not suited to pancaking. Not a ton of cotton, but it needs to be laying across those holes. If you're doing a vertical coil I'm guessing you've got plenty of cotton in there already, you just gotta make sure it's over the holes.

Yeah good luck! I could never get a vertical build to work in there, I always felt like my flavor was just totally obliterated. So my experience wicking the STM is all for horizontal coils, but for those I really just put the barest minimum amount of cotton in, but as long as I can't look into the juice hole and see through, it wicks totally fine, with no leaking when I walk around the city, even though the tank always ends up on its side in my pocket.

Out of curiosity, what's your vertical build look like? I'm curious to see how you're positioning and wicking it, I was always kinda bummed when I couldn't get my vertical builds to work.
