Hey all,
Alright well I'm just another frustrated newb when it comes to rba but not sure if it's a wicking issue. I have 26 gauge wrapped 5 times around the blue screwdriver for .6 ohms. I am vaping diy juice that is 70vg. I am wicking with cotton bacon. I wicked it so it's isn't too loose isn't too tight and the cotton is laying on the deck not too much. It's not spitting or burning. I'm not getting much flavor and I can't figure out why. The coil is not too far from the deck or too close. What gives?

Sometimes a brand new wick will take a bit to break in and give the full flavor of your eliquid (maybe 1ml but usually after 5-10 puffs). You could also be affected by vapors tongue. Make sure you drink plenty of water while vaping. Also you could try moving the airflow control ring on the bottom of the tank to one of the more restricted openings to see if the flavor improves.

Thanks for the tips! I made a fresh bottle to avoid that as a variable and I changed the airholes. It just takes like cotton. This happened with the cotton that came with the kit too. Ive run half a tank through it. It sure isn't close to the flavor the premade coils have. I've tried looking this up but I don't see a lot about cotton taste
