Just a quick clarification please.
So as far as I know about the OCC coils to the rba ,with occ some ppl say cotton may dry out if the tank is not filled above the cotton holes, and the rba I've heard since there are juice chambers down low yu can drain till almost empty..is tht correct for the rba? I'm just trying to make sure I don't dry out the cotton n burn it since I have a working coil for now..

Weird aint it !. Those occ coils are weird. Imagine if the gas tank in your car did that. And the manufacturer told you a load of old nonsense as to why saying it will be ok if you drive in San Fransisco or Wales-uk because the gas would drain out when on a hill.

Subtank occ coils were invented by an idiot.

Never use mine and are still sitting in the box.

I can't express how ridiculous they are. Words fail me.

I agree, one of the reasons I did not like BCC tanks, EVOD and Protanks etc.
I have not re-built the pre-built heads yet, but stands to reason, you may be able to have a bit of cotton dropping out of the holes to help wicking?
not sure if that will cause them to leak though.
I've tried it, didn't work. The problem was opposite of leaking, you get dry hits. Then when I switched to rayon I tried it again, since rayon doesn't expand like cotton when wet. And that gave me leaking... It would constantly wick and seep out the air holes

Right now I am not having many issues with this tank and pre-built .5 atty's. I actually like this one.
Still have some slight issues with juice popping into my mouth, but nowhere near the issues I had with Protanks etc.
I also tried out the 1ohm atty but didn't really like it as much for some reason, not the atty's fault, the higher ohm felt different to me.

Typically, I use a Provari and Magma single at about 2.2 ohm at 3.8V and between 10 and 18mg.
With the Kanger Subtank Mini on .5ohm and an iTaste MVP v3.0 at around 18W, I am at 6mg, any more than that and it is harsh as hell.
this has been pretty darn good for a while now.

I don't have any issues with keeping the tank filled enough as needed. Guess I don't understand the deal with drying out a tank of all juice before refilling.
If it get's nasty enough, which doesn't seem to be an issue like it can be with tanks like the Kayfun, dump it and start fresh after a while. Still cheaper than smoking right now.
The problems with tanks like the Kayfun, can be, after a couple tank fulls or less even,
the drip back from the chimney will build up and create a condensed liquid in the chamber, recycled juice,
this gets really nasty after a bit, and if I vape heavy, it happens fast.

Right now, I am not noticing that and it's not seeping back into the tank like with others.

I have not tried the RBA part yet. I know I might have to drill out the holes a bit, but I will wait and see on that.

I haven't figured out why people need to drill out the juice channels....i run high vg through mine (both v1 sub tank full rba and v1 sub tank mini rba) with no problems. All it takes is getting the wicking right :p

That is what I figure, they just look really tiny. I won't do anything till I fiddle with it a while.
