Sorry for spamming but after many tests I have come to the conclusion that my 7ml subtank is not connecting to my ipv4s. It must be the ipv 510 connector not allowing the large base to sit flush.

If I force the tank super tight it reads correctly. All my other tanks are 22mm and fit with ease with no issue, I even have a tfv4 which is a huge base which don't cause issues, it must be the ipv and the subtank plus base meeting

Anyone experiencing anything similar

From what it sounds like, you already have it figured out. It would look stupid but you could try an ego to 510 adapter to make sure everything is actually working. I have no idea why they stopped the spring loaded 510 on the new Subtank Plus... I've had issues galore with this tank from leaking, spitting, burning new coils... I REALLY want to love the subtank too...

Ego adaptor, lol only thing I've not tried mate, will give that a shot after work
