So again my subtank is giving me problems. Basically like a lot of other posters have said my tank is spitting ejuice into my mouth. So I think that the coil is having trouble vaporizing the juice cause it's too thin (70pg/30vg) I'm wondering if it's worth it like just time wise to buy 50/50 vg/pg or if I should actually use like a 60/40 (vg/pg) mix. And if this would even help the issue?

It very well could be that the juice is to thin. I have had that problem too but mine was with the rab section and not having enough wick. I use 30 PG and 70 VG with mine and run it around 18-20 watts. How old is the coil and what type of juices do you use? It very well could be that your coil is gunked and running it at 30 watts is heating enough to get some of the gunk off causing it to pop. Does it gurgle when you take a puff? Is it wide open airflow? Also, do you take long hard pulls?

Try lowering the wattage down a little bit. These I have found are not that great when it comes to higher wattage. Like I said earlier, I use mine at around 18-20 watts. Also, do not take pulls on it like it is going out of style. With it being a thinner juice it may be saturating the coil to much and that is where it is getting into your mouth.

Ok so I did that but now it seems to not be doing much of anything. When it vapes good you can hear that airflow you know what I mean. It just sounds like a vacuum (good thing). It's like I don't know how to write the sound but it's cool. But yeah right now nothing it's frustrating. The vape coming out is good but like the sensation is completly off maybe it's just me

Spitting and popping is the result of a flooded coil. Too much juice is reaching the coil at once and it isn't converting to vapor fast enough. Instead you get bubbling juice at the coil, kind of like boiling water in a pan. Vapor will build up under the liquid juice and pop through the surface tension, and that's where the spitting comes from.

The two best ways to prevent spitting is to either change the mix or increase the wattage so the juice vaporizes faster. The problem with increasing the wattage is it can lead to dry or burnt hits really quickly. Changing the juice mixture is better because the results are more consistent.

I would definitely recommend a higher VG juice. I vape an 80VG/20PG mix in mine and never get any spitting or popping. I would think the very least you would want would be a 50/50 mix or perhaps a 60/40 VG to PG mix. Subohm tanks really aren't made for runny high PG mixes.

I really can't compare your wattage with mine since I use SSOCC Ni200 coils. With temperature control my wattage fluctuates like crazy, but I have it set at 35W to get instant vapor. As soon as the coil reaches the set temperature it adjusts the wattage to maintain that temperature.

Would definitely go 50/50.

If you are using the coil heads I would not recommend above 60%VG.

If you Rebuild on the RBA. You could go 70-80%vg.

So I've found that my subtank works the worst right after a refill. I mean I prime it and everything. But last night I left it sitting and when I took a vape this morning the issue seemed to clear up. But I don't really feel like having to wait hours for my vape to adjust itself. I wonder what is going on here. Also I did some rebuilding but I think I made my coil too small or something cause it's reading .1 ohm which means it doesn't fire. Which is probably a good thing if it's only .1 but I'm just wondering if it is too small or if my device isn't reading the rba properly cause I'm pretty sure I had a similar size coil on the rba that was reading between .5 and .7. So I'm thinking cause I have the coil master kit that I should use the wider setting and make bigger coils. I can't change the thickness of the wire though unless I buy more wire. I think it's like 26 guage so it's relatively thin. But yeah do you guys think I just need to use the wider end to wrap the coil. I'm sure you know what I mean but if not it be similar to wrapping it around a thicker screw driver instead of a thin one.
