Yeah, it fits nicely

How many wraps and what ohms you gettin?

I've messed with my subtank mini rba a few times, 26-28 Guage micros and macros and haven't built anything yet that rivals the performance of the damn occ 0.5. I find it odd since it's just a spaced simple build in there.

I've never twisted wire before but I do have a drill so I'll try it if it brings the best out of that rba.

odd, ive been using a 3 week old 1.4ohm 28g spaced and the included 0.5 rba coil so far and i like the rba better.
ive found wicking is more important for the rba to get a good vape, imo

So perhaps we should post some pics of good wicking?

there was a discussion w/some pics in the main stmini thread in the clearomizer forum.
my experience w/rayon - thick w/short tails just touching the deck keeping wick holes clear, can go about 30-50mls of sweet fruit juices before coils get too gunked and start getting burnt hits. chainvaping as i cant get enough lol
ymmv

I'm using 4 wraps at .45 ohm... Don't remember the diameter

Wish this came up about the wicks a few weeks ago when I first got mine. Set the rba up with too long of a wick and would get a dry hit every third hit or so. I thought it just sucked and left it in my drawer until yesterday when I randomly decided to try and re wick it. So glad I did.
Oooops...
I posted in wrong thread:(

A) no one near me carries it
B) the resulting wrap would be wider
C) I work better with round
:p
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

Where do you buy Kanthal wire local? I know you probably don't live in or near Oregon. But I can't find it Local ANYWHERE. I've tried Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, small mom & pop shops, RadioShack. Nobody & I mean NOBODY even knows what Kanthal wire is!!

Please tell me where you go to find, so I don't have to buy online anymore!!

I get it from a local vape shop :p
I pay more that way, but it's convenient. I get it in 30' rolls for $7

USMCotaku - Yeah my shops sell them too, but if I can order online for $4.50 for 100' I don't like to pay $9 for 30' (which is what shops sell them for). One guy at a shop offered to build me a coil (1 coil) for $5! I said "No.". I can build coils just fine! I just don't want to OVERPAY for everything! So it sounds like online, it is!!

Thank you sir!!

And sorry to deviate from this original topic!!
