Sorry for the blurry pics, my phone doesn't have macro mode. But here is the build I posted about last night. Loving it around 30w. Flavor is incredible

Ok, so new revelation. I turned the airflow control to the second of middle airflow hole and dropped down to 20w. The flavor has again increased. And when I say increased, I mean it is a much cleaner, more crisp flavor. Not overwarming taste, no burnt or alcohol taste that I sometime get with this particular banana flavored juice. The vape is also much cooler. While the cloud production. Did drop significantly, the satisfaction I get from this vape in terms of flavor and comfort is unbeatable compared to anything else I've tried. Definitely found a repeatable setup I'm gonna stick with. I absolutely love this tank with this build. And hey, lower power and airflow means longer battery life and less juice refills. Another plus

I love that twisted wire! Is the overall concept of the twisted wire being that you can use smaller gauge, wrap less wraps and still have a "low" resistance?
for example (just using FICTIONAL numbers), using twisted wire 32 ga with 6 wraps gets you .8 ohm vs that same 32 ga NON-twisted wire would be like 10-12 wraps to get the same resistance?

I guess wrapping my head around it (pun intended!), since smaller ga wire is usually easier to bend and wrap then your larger gauge wires are, then using a twisted wire would allow you to use smaller gauge (easier to work with) but still get into those low resistances without so many wraps. Is this correct thinking?

The purpose of twisted wire is to give more surface area in the coil contacting the wick..... You get better flavor

The sub tank minis came with peek insulators already I thought. My full size sub tank didn't, but I don't like the airflow on that one so I only use occ heads in that any ways

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

The clear one was supposed to be peek but whatever it was made out of it was too brittle. There have been breaks that resulted in shorts but thankfully everyone was using protected batteries so there were no battery explosions; that I've heard of anyway.

I use mine on a regulated device. If it does end up cracking, no worries, it will read as a short and won't fire :p
I won't worry about it until it does crack, I can always use the occ heads to I get a replacement piece. (I've been doing twisted wire in those as well :p)
