Put in my order with some of the suggested vendors from this site (got rush delivery of course). All in all I spent about $230.00, which is about a month's worth of cig money for me and the Wife. This will land us 30 ms of sample packs in the 3 ml bottles, as well as 3 batteries, lots of extra attys, tanks, and tips. It was fun doing all the shopping and I am sure I went overboard on all the stuff I picked up, but as a newb I would rather have to much extra parts at home than be missing that one curcial component.

With that being said, I figured out another venefit of vaping: driving to work this morning in heavy rain, didn't have to roll down the window to quell the craving.

And my experience ordering has shown me a potential fail: haveing to wait for products to come in the mail. I have not seen any vendors in the area so if I run out of juice, or all my parts break at once, I am going to be wasting lots on disposables.

I will post again when I get everything set up.

Also, I pulgged one of my blu batteries into my envy charger, and it is now broken, so I am down to one battery, but I went ahead and picked up a disposable, which was WAY better that the kit. It gave a decent vape and my wife even started taking a puff or two from it, so I am confident that she will enjoy her twist once we get the proper nic % in the juice.

If you made it to the end, thanks for listening.

My experiences have been mostly success. I started with Safe Cig but quickly figured out that while they are quite good really...they were way overpriced. Jumped to V2 then immediately after that to Smokeless Image Volt. I quit smoking from my very first vape on the Safe Cig and never looked back. Still have 7 unopened "new" packs of cigs in my freezer that I had when my first kit came. They've been there since Sept. 2011.

Things got a bit shaky when I ventured into 510s....something I'd resisted for awhile as I really like the KR808D-1 threading. I finally capitulated and got a kGo, then discovered I needed a whole mess of stuff to go with...lots of extra $$$ I didn't really want to spend, and I had a hard time getting a straight answer from the people I was consulting at the time. Wouldn't call it a "fail"...but although I have numerous eGo style 510s now, and a Lavatube....I STILL prefer the KR808D-1s and mostly use the SI X2s and sometimes Echo and Go-Go and Elite (the latter two are manuals, and I really prefer automatics now) Most of my 510 stuff I regard now as "back ups" in case I have an epic fail with all my KR808 equipment.

Didn't gain any weight like some people do when they quit smoking because vaping satisfied my hand to mouth urges and I enjoyed it. Yes...can taste and smell better now, but haven't gained any weight at all.

Overall...crashing success on just about all fronts!

So its been a while since I got my shipment of the goods (eGo Twist kit with vivi v3) and I have some more to add to this:

I overestimated on my nic content and usage. This was because real juice in a tank produces much better throat hit than the blu I was using, and even though I could puff on the high blu (18% nic cart) all day long without feeling over nicced, my new twist produces great TH at even the lowest level I ordered. I think I will have to go down from 12% with my "real" equipment. It sucks cause I ordered almost all the flavors I wanted in the 24% variety, and I got all my wife's flavors in the lower concentrations. If it hadn't been for you all on ECF I probably would have ordered all in my nic content since my wife wasn't on board 100% before our gear arrived. Next time I will have to go with a 6% all day vape and a 12% drinking mix :)

Been super successful aside from that, going to put in a second order for juice soon, and I was excited to see my blu cartos fit into my eGo (had some left over, and the juice is great, and using it with my eGo produces a great vape.

One last success: had a patient today (I work as a CAT (CT) Scan tech) who was a smoker with emphysema, told her to try the e-cig, where to get it, and demoed my eGo for her. Hope it helps her.

OK, off to the DIY juice forums for a bit.
