To be honest, Blu was probably the first exposure I had to ecigs as well

I was on the Nicotrol Inhaler for a couple of years before my insurance stopped paying for the prescription. A death in my family was the catalyst for me to resume smoking. After a couple of years, I was ready to resume a smoke free life and while browsing quit smoking suppport groups, I stumbled upon the advertising for Blu.

Unlike many of the others here, I did purchase the product. It was not very satisfying to me, and so I began browsing other products and once again, was fortunate to stumble upon the ECF forum. Since then, I've found products and equipment which are very satisfying to me and have managed to be smoke free since 4/11/11.

Had tried some really bad cigalikes a couple years ago and wanting to try and quit analogs again I started searching google for something better which quickly lead me to ECF and then of course opened the floodgates on a whole new world of vaping. Six weeks later I haven't touched another analog and never will. Thanks!

Talking about vacation spots with the Hubby, we realized most resorts were totally smoke free. The gas station a few blocks from our house had just started carrying the Green Smart Living e-cig kits. 20 bucks for a small battery, two disposable pre-filled cartos, and a usb charger. Not a lot of money to just give it a try. With no desire to quit smoking at all, I was able to cut my habit down from about a pack and a half a day to about 5 smokes a day. I found ecf the same day I bought that little kit and from here found the Volt. I fell off the wagon several months ago and was not only back to the old habit, but up to 2 packs a day. I'm back on the pv now (thank goodness) and I've upgraded to the Volt X2.

Even though I have still not completely quit the stink sticks, I will forevery be grateful that I found that cheap little kit at the corner store.

I been smoking analogs for 17 years. A beautiful girl whom im completely smitten with told me about e-cigs which she actually referred to as a "vape pen". I know she didnt like me smoking not only because it smells but also because she actually cares about my well being. The next day on my lunch i went to a local smoke shop in search of this vape pen thingy. I found one called a 9m. Super cheap ($39) and i think was a knock off of the ego-t. Anyways, i now have a better one with an ego-t upgrade battery and an aftermarket tank and carto, nothing fancy but it works for now. Its been 2 weeks now and im hooked! Shes def a life saver. I adore her. Hahah thats my story.

I had been wanting to quit for some time...Another forum I'm on had a big ecig thread and I somewhat balked at the complexity of it. More people had success with the higher end gear it seemed, but given the wide array of gear and the relatively high startup costs for something I wasn't sure I would enjoy turned me off. Was going to try chantix to quit altogether but after researching more I decided that wasn't worth the risk.

Asked the other guys what to buy, ordered it and so far, success....

Started on a manual 510 way back in 2009 after watching a news vid on ecigs. Had no intentions of quitting analogs, but I live in Vermont, don't smoke in the house and wanted to be able to smoke something that didn't require me freezing in the garage on winter nights when it was -30. Used the 510 off and on, mostly during the winter.

Then, earlier this year, I upgraded from the 510, again, with no intentions of quitting analogs. Was so impressed at how far the technology has come since 2009 and how much better the vaping experience is, that I did quit analogs and haven't looked back since.
