I posted about a week ago in here pertaining the My7's Hybrid Vision disappointment, and now I have a nice little story behind it.
I started on the 7's KR8's which weren't bad at all, but didn't get me off of analogs. I upgraded to the Hybrid Vision kit, which includes 2 650mAh 3-piece midsizes (these are My7's attempt to stay in the vapegame). They're sleek, but there was a huge void in their overall performance. I stopped smoking analogs with the help of this kit, but I still wanted more, so I joined these forums on the pursuit of knowledge.
When I purchased the 7's kit, I did not know that I needed to semi-frequently swap out atomizers (especially since they aren't rebuildable, they're proprietary and are ridiculously overpriced). I burnt through the one that came with the kit and soon ordered 4 new ones from the website. When they came in, they seemed a bit different. The metal tube that slides into the 'air chamber' to seal up was about half an inch shorter. Also, the wick almost nonexistent. After vaping a few days on it, I noticed that the ejuice was just seeping out of the atomizer into the battery. This was causing it to misfire, then chug all of my ejuice, overheat, and just cause a large amount of disappointment. I kept trying to be happy with this thing and at the same time read so many poor reviews on it, and just couldn't take it anymore.
After doing enough research, I went to my local tobacconist/cigarstore (that is slowly getting in a lot more vapegear) where I purchased the 7's kit and try to return it all for $80 store credit. Luckily enough, they had My7's atomizers (fancily packaged and all) that I could compare to the ones they sent me in front of the store clerk. He had to call his boss to validate a return of that size, but he also mentioned how My7's are going the way of the dodo since they are selfish and poor to deal with business-wise.
I was scouring the walls of large tobacco bags and hookah parts when the Joyetech eVic caught my eye. I was originally looking for another midsize, specifically a Kangertech EVOD, but with the $80 store credit I happily gained, I bought the eVic for the remaining $20. The clerk threw in a clone cartomizer with a free bottle of store-made juice for the troubles.
I'm having such a better experience with the eVic and can't wait to slowly build my juice/tank collection up.
Any other success stories that might be on par?
