hello everyone.
recently my boyfriend and i decided once his lease is up in may, that he would be added onto my current lease. so i've had to get used to saying "our house" instead of "my house", i've also had to get used to "our vaping supplies" versus "my vaping supplies".
i think he may be my easiest convert to date. he had been smoking for a while, but didn't appear to be in a state of poor health that i was in by the time i quit. this end of fiscal year has been tough for both of us, and we have both been pretty broke. he was completely frustrated with his pack a day habit, and how financially unsustainable it was. he credits the stress of having to spend $11 on smokes a day with being the primary motivator for quitting cigarettes. i like to think it's because we have been living a lot better. >.> proper meals, getting enough sleep, decreasing caffeine, etc. but hey. this is also a non-smoking building and i vape constantly. after a while it was bound to catch on, right?
anyway. he started vaping by using first the precise plus 18650 and a few vivi novas, but has moved on to the 18500 with vivi novas. how many of you guys are weary about recommending high end pvs and semi-rebuildables to newbies? i definitely think it worked rather well for him. he has been vaping for nearly 3 weeks now, and has not bought cigarettes since he has picked up the pv. also, his last cigarette was nearly two weeks ago. definitely very proud and pleased with this success.
in general though i would have to say that all successful converts to vaping that i've helped have been exclusively with replaceable battery apvs. one friend got a lavatube as their first pv. another moved on from a smoktech epower (?) to a precise plus as soon as the battery stopped triggering. then another successful convert with the precise plus. it's definitely very easy to dismiss the monthly expense of smoking. when i first started vaping my mind blew at the price of mechanical apvs. i also spent up to $250/month on tobacco, which exceeds the price of a golden greek telescopic apv.
anyways i'm pleased the boyfriend was able to pick up vaping from me, and identifies himself as a non smoker. ultimately his goal is to quit vaping as well. i legitimately accidentally ordered 60ml of 0mg liquid, but neither of us have used it very much. the evic is keeping me occupied, but it will be a very awesome day when i get my p+18500 back. <3
