...She sees my gear lined up and me filling the cartos and says "It looks like too much work". She smokes Marlboro Special blends and was thinking of getting her a starter kit for Xmas despite her negativity towards the whole vaping scene. Any suggestions?

If she doesn't seem to like the idea then I would get her a kit that you would like, as you'll probably end up using it. I just got starter kits for both my brother and my dad for Christmas, but they both were interested enough to try cheapo gas station e-cigs and were somewhat disappointed. From what I've seen, if someone doesn't want to attempt vaping then it will prove to be too much work for them.

That being said though, if she's going to try at all it will probably have to look like a real cig. The kit I got my dad was an 808 kit from Madvapes. It has white batteries and brown cartomizers. He(and his wife) were very concerned that their pv look like a regular analog. That 808 kit was the cheapest decent analog-look-alike kit I found. Good luck.

Not very:( Tons of people have been interested and i've given away dozens of business cards but, alas, I don't think I converted anyone completely. I've been desperately trying to convert my father. He will use his e-cig sometimes, but it's obvious that it's just not his thing. I don't think people necesarily need to be willing to quit. They just need to be willing to CHANGE and keep an open mind. This requires getting out of one's comfort zone and that is very scary.
