Successful build

This is my 1st successful build of the steam turbine clone. Vapor & flavour is great, next I'll try a dual coil. I built similar coils to this before but everytime something wasn't right, flavor too poor, taste burnt, taste metallic, hotspots, shortages etc. Anyone could tell me why this time everything went great?

BTW I'm running this on vamo, so need to keep above 1.2ohms. This coil is 1.9ohms.

Little bit more info needed on this. What kind of wire? Are you oxidizing your mesh? What size mesh 300/400/500? Whats the mix of your liquid?

kanthal awg 32, mesh is 400. Yes I'm oxidizing the mesh & liquid is 30vg/70pg.

There are a lot of variables with ss, but if you are dry firing it you can see where your problems are. Sometimes if one of the coils isn't making full contact with the ss it will hotspot. Also before you finish the roll on the wick, fold a little flap back in so the edge of the mesh is inside the wick and not causing shorts. You will get the hang of it, it takes a little practice, but its very worth it.
