I'm probably exactly like you when you were in Korea haha. The weekend trips to Daegu spent drinking adds up more than I want to add up ha. For some reason it's easy for me to go out and drink and buy my bottle of crown at the PX. Probably because it's a smaller $ amount. Spending $300 some on all the supplies and mod makes me cringe a little

Nah i feel what you mean, its a bit... but its worth it... i have a svd i was using before, so a back up... when i thought my back up batteries for the reo weren't going to show till Tuesday i was ready to go to a b&m that's way overpriced to get 1 back up battery to let me usemy reo without having to rely on my svd...

The vape is, i can't describe it. It just doesn't compare to anything out there...

Well, I do use carto tanks with some of my juices because, well, let's just say some of them use things like sweeteners that are not particularly fond of low ohms (anything below 1.2 ohms). They are decent, they are good and consistent if you get them working right and the flavor leaves clearomizers and any other non RBA/RDA system on the dust. But, with that being said, REO + RM2 beats the hell out of that.

There are several things that affect how much flavor you get, and it depends on your build as well. A cloud chasing build might be lacking in flavor, but putting out clouds while a build surrounding flavor (mundy's magic or the Kayfun for example) may not put out ridiculous clouds but will definitely kick your taste buds. The RM2 is in between, it gives you the best of both worlds without focusing on neither aspect too much. You could get the IGO-S which (IMHO) gives a bit better flavor due to the smaller chamber, but the RM2 is just overall a lot easier to build and tinker with since the way it's setup allows you to make any number of crazy builds with a safe ceramic cup and efficient drainage.

To put it bluntly, your trip will definitely end with a REO + RM2. You can make the road longer (more expensive), but the final destination will be the same :D.

I have to tell you Cartos suck the hind teet attys are ok but still need cleaning replacing etc the Reo with a RM2 on it is the least fiddling I've ever had to do its less than smoking every couple 3 weeks I clean my unit and my wick material and thats it beyond changing batteries emptying and cleaning an ashtray was more hassle never mind having to go to the store for another pack and god forbid my lighter died

I've never watched such a correct decision be made.
REO for the win.
By a mile.

I'm waiting on my third to be delivered... and all my other gear is slowly being sold off.. Eventually all I'll have is 3 Reos and one cheap mech mod (keeping that just for fun)

As others may have said.
The ONLY problems with the REO/RM2 combo, are it makes this forum much less interesting, because...
1:You have no interest in researching tanks / mods / batteries / shinies etc any more.
2: Almost every post you read could be closed and put to bed by you just typing "Buy a Reo"

They're THAT good.

I am actually restraining from just flat out telling people to buy a reo, dont want reos to end up getting the provari stigma... and i dont want to sound like a fan boy... that and i will never suggest a reo to someone who is just stepping into vaping, after they understand more of the basics, then yeah, but before they understand vaping... nuh uh...

Best investment you could have made. Congrats! I'm one of those old timers who jumped on the crazy train early. This year will be 3 years with my single Reo Grand. On average I spend $40-$50 every 2 months on juice. I don't look at all the new fancy stuff everyone is using. I'm happy with what I have. I must be a little crazy because I don't even feel the need to own another Reo (magic porcupine dust wasn't a thing in first run Grands).

Now the waiting game begins, Since i'm alllll the way across the pacific ocean everything takes extra long to get to me haha. I got the REO and RM2 coming, batteries, wire, cotton, multi meter, ohm reader do-hickey, charger. An order from Nicoticket and Good Life Vapor, the whole "vapemail" thing is an understatement. It hasn't been more than a few hours and I want to check my email for shipping confirmation . I live in the barracks so my roommate sees all my bottles of ejuice everywhere, he insists that i'm a crackhead.. maybe he's right :vapor:

Made the mistake of ordering CLS in a 15 ml my first time ordering from him. This time I ordered a 50 ml of CLS and a 30 of H1N1. Probably should just place an order for a tanker truck full of CLS

The only thing someone in your situation should do is shut the laptop, take a deep breath, & have a vape. You already have something to vape with. What is your hurry? The reo is a fantastic mod. Other mods, are also fantastic mods. I am broke 90% of the time. I buy a new mod at the rate of maybe 2-3 times per year. Mechanicals vape better than VV mods in my opinion, but they are also very inconvenient. The reo is a great mod, but you can't control certain variables with a mechanical that you can with a VV mod. With a VV mod, if you flood your atomizer by accident while your walking through the mall, you can put your voltage up and vaporize all the extra juice. With a mechanical mod, you can't do that. You rely on the battery's voltage. All you can do is put a fresh battery in for a higher wattage. You can't control the heat of your vape for different flavors, and you can't really control the voltage of your battery decreasing & giving you a weaker vape.

I know the whole seek and buy mentality very well because I've spent a lot of time here. No place has taught me finances as well as e-cigarette-forum. I'm telling you, ReosMods will always be there for you. You don't HAVE to buy one as soon as possible. Think of all the Reos that are sitting at ReosMods workshop right now... they are basically in your own personal safety deposit box. You just haven't paid the $140 fee to take them out yet. But they are there, safe & sound. Trust me, as good as it feels to see a Reo in your mailbox or at your front door, the feeling of financial insecurity brings you right back down to earth. You have to be ready to make the purchase, otherwise the purchase will feel dirty and tarnished. If you wait until you have $280 saved up, then you'll be able to buy the Reo of your dreams, two AW 18650 batteries, a Reomizer2, kanthal + cotton, new juice, AND you'll have some money to put away for your next mod purchase. Thats the mentality you have to have with this vaping hobby. Otherwise it will take you for a ride.

You should really order an extra spring or two if you didn't. You made a smart investment. You'll have your Reo years down the road.

I did order extra springs, magnets, bottles/tubes, etc.

I was just talking to someone about shipping batteries over seas. He said it won't happen, does any one have any experiences with shipping batteries over seas to apo boxes?

Good advice, I agree this hobby will take you for a ride. I do have the money, I just am very very cheap when it comes to most things.. I think in the long run it will pay off. I just hope this is not a fad/phase for me that I blew 300+ on
