Good advice, I agree this hobby will take you for a ride. I do have the money, I just am very very cheap when it comes to most things.. I think in the long run it will pay off. I just hope this is not a fad/phase for me that I blew 300+ on

Congratz on your REO purchase!

You will get a email from PayPal with shipping/tracking. All REO's ship with signature required for delivery. The email will be sent when the label is printed. Actual shipping usually a couple days. Monday is a holiday so no mail.

It might be a good idea to PM Robert about your situation if it is not possible to be there to sign.

Welcome to Reoville and congrats on the incoming Reo. Check the thread Reos not preforming well in the stickies it will help to prevent problems that happen a few weeks in. Also cut an inverted V in the bottom of the feed tube, that will stop it from sucking itself to the bottom of the juice bottle. Check out the coil building videos by statistic vapdiver and super X. Your Reo will come with a little bit of Noalox in a baggy I suggest getting a bottle of it or a tube of dielectric grease.

When I got a REO, everything else just sits. I even stopped wanting to try other things!

I had a similar experience. Bought my first reo about 3 years ago. I gave up on it after I tried nearly every atty/carto solution on the market. I caved and got me a provari + jtank.
It was ok but not great.

Recently I caved again and bought my first RM2. Umm now I own 3 and 3 reo grands. :)

I haven't touched a carto, provari, any mods except my reomods since.

It's funny and sad how my perfect vape was in front of me for 3 years and all it took was a RM to complete it. So much $$$ wasted on other gear. Thank gawd the wife isn't on ecf, it could be dangerous to my health lol

Peace

To put it bluntly, your trip will definitely end with a REO + RM2. You can make the road longer (more expensive), but the final destination will be the same :D.

Spot on man! Pretty much says it all.

The fact is, eventually you will move on to rebuildables and mechs. It's the standard and unavoidable progression for every single APV user in existence. Either you buy a Reo now, or in a few months you buy some tube clone/RBA set up for $75 and end up thinking, "Man, this is great but dripping is annoying. Should have got a Reo."

Edit: Should have read the thread. Looks like this conclusion has already been met. Good luck!

I am actually restraining from just flat out telling people to buy a reo, dont want reos to end up getting the provari stigma... and i dont want to sound like a fan boy... that and i will never suggest a reo to someone who is just stepping into vaping, after they understand more of the basics, then yeah, but before they understand vaping... nuh uh...

You really do need to vape the beginner stuff when starting out to really appreciate the REO. Otherwise, you have no comparison.

They take just about anything on top that you care to put on them. They have a 510 connection. Atomizers, cartomizers. tanks, RDAs, RBAs. Most people now are using RBAs as they are very adjustable to the user, pay for themselves over time and vape great. THe RM2 sold by Reosmods.com is a highly recommended rebuildable atomizer. Reosmods makes several mods in wood and metal and are renown for their extreme durability, ease of use, customer service, superior vaping quality and a friendly, helpful community.
Heres an example of a wood mod (maple door with wenge back) carrying 6 ml of juice and an 18650 battery with an RM2 rebuildable atomizer

and heres metal model with a Kick installed an an 18490 battery and a rebuildable atomizer.

What topper do these reo's use? They are for cartomizers? I'm not sure what product you guys are referring to, I see REO makes a few mods.

As Itrainer point out they can take just about anything that is a 510 connector. This allows you find the perfect vape. The big key is they are bottom feed, so you get the all the advantages of dripping without the hassle. What are you currently using? What do you like about? What would want to change if you could? We might be able to recommend a setup that would blow you away. Read all the posts from new Reo users that are just blown away and looking to get another one, these kind of posts appear every week.

and what is the atty? i thought it was the rm2 at first, but no idea what that is.... looks pretty interesting
Well I am having a senior moment. Its a cheap atomizer which I didn't have problems with but many people had this atomizer short their Reo. It has a wobbley center post. I think it had a "9" in its name. I'm a lot of help aren't I? You don't want one of those though. I can tell you that. I thought it was pretty good until I got an RM2. Whoever can name that will give me an "Oh, yea" moment and might win an organic cotton ball.

lol... ah i was just asking because it looks kinda cool... not sure i would want it... looks like it could pass as a carto... about twice as long as the rm2...

the only thing that i can see that i would prefer it over the rm2 with is that it appears it would be very easy to take off... i havent tried to take the rm2 off my reo yet, but the significantly small lip looks like its going to be a bit of a pain, when i pull it off to rebuild it...

again i havent tried to take it off yet... why would i? but of course it will be easier to remove with the top cap off...

now the button covers... do they just slide over the button? do you have to take the button off and put the new one on? i know i am really eyeing those covers as i have a big thumb and that button is a little small for my tastes...

The buttons are a friction fit. You just push them on. Put the firing pin in the locked position and push the button cover on. If it is pushed on too far the Reo will not have enough throw to fire the mod. If that happens pry off the button and put a little wad of paper in the cover's hole to act as a spacer to keep the button cover up a little higher on the firing pin. IF the cover feels a little lose a piece if dental floss laid over the top of the firing pin helps to keep the cover tight when you push it on the firing pin. Sounds more complicated than it is.

I saw those pics and wondered if you still used the A7's! I got rid of all of mine.
