A better phrasing is "are all sweeteners the same?" No, they are not. I'm diabetic and have researched this due to also being allergic to sweeteners other than sucralose. Its complicated as far as the taste buds go but the end result is that two or more different sweeteners in the same recipe will make the final result sweeter than if just one is used... maybe what you mean by "more like cane." What I've found with sweeteners is you have to ask the vendor. Even though they show a pink packet graphic and say sucralose, for instance, the may not mean it is 100% sucralose. There may be another sweetener added... like aspartame.... to give more sweetness. However, if they say 100% sucralose, then you know that's all that's in it. So, short answer, if you want to be sure you're getting a blend like sucralose/aspartame/or stevia, you have to ask or buy them all separately and mix yourself.

Edit: but if you do buy them separately and mix yourself, be sure to do distilled water taste tests. Don't just jump right in trying to get the balanced or right sweetness by adding to your juice. You can ruin it very quickly. Incidentally, if you get too much sweetener, one or a blend, it will make you not be able to taste any sweetness at all. That's how the buds react. So a true case of "less is more."

I use ez-sweetz from Amazon. It is excellent and has a fairly realistic sugar cane type flavor. A couple drops max (one per 10 ml.) is plenty!

I have been wanting to try this stuff out.

EZSweets is Splenda which is generically called sucralose
Ingredients: Filtered water, Sucralose, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Succinic Acid, and Citric Acid.

2 oz bottle: 2 drops = 1 packet of Splenda. 800 servings per bottle. Equivalent to 10 lbs of sugar.

Wow! that's a lot of sweets, no wonder most experience mixers are using only a few drops per 10 .ml's
Any downside to some of the minor additives ?

Does TFA's sweetener have an msds sheet similar in ingredients to this?

I guess a 2 oz. bottle from them for 14 dollars would last years. - and this would be the closest in taste to pure cane sugar.

Would anybody have a different opinion of this..:p
