I have spent a small fortune trying different things to get a vap that I felt was satisfying my need for an analog. I started with a Riva T starter kit and it was great, did a pretty good job. I bought many carts and even a Riva tank. I always bought my partner the same things. They worked well enough but I still had those times where I just needed more although my partner was satisfied with the Riva.

I ordered the buzz pro, which I appreciate is a big investment for some, but while waiting for its arrival from the states, I've received the Ego twist vv battery. Reasonably priced so I thought why not. All I can say is what a difference vv makes! I can't stress enough how much more satisfying this is! Even my partner wants one now as he is amazed at the difference.

I am not a regular poster, but hope that some of the newer vapers will benefit from this before they either give up because it doesn't quite do it for them, or before they spend tons of money on kit seeking the best vap. It doesn't have to be expensive!

Though I do appreciate VV as a PV feature, I personally can't recommend it on its own without the user understanding other features PVs can have. I've seen a lot of vapers get a PV just for the feature VV and end up not entirely happy with their purchase because they didn't consider other features they might want or appreciate having.

There's a lot to think about when choosing a PV you hope to use for any length of time. I'm glad you found one you like though! that's excellent!

Thanks six, I agree, just wanted to give those that might not be totally satisfied my opinion of a vv, I would hope anyone moving to them would first do some research. I guess what I'm saying is don't give up if you are not satisfied there are some very good options out there.

Yes I started vaping the fist time in 2009, but unfortunately it didn't last that time and I just started again about six weeks ago. It' never too late!

Congrats on finding what works!

Hey if you been a member since 2009 shouldn't you be a veteran? Should have the words above your avatar.

ECF Veteran status requires at least 1year membership and at least 75 posts.

dawn, shortly after reaching 75 posts, 'ECF Veteran' will show up under your name.

I agree. If I was advising anyone just starting out who was considering buying an eGo C, I would recommend they buy the twist. They don't have to adjust the voltage at first if they don't want to play around with it, but then they will have the option of adjusting it once they know more about vaping without buying another PV.

I started with a stick e-cig, ordered an eGo C a few days later, and then found out about the twist and ordered that. There is such a difference with the twist that I only use the regular C batteries when both my twists are dead (which is rarely). I've ordered two more twist batteries to make sure I always have one fully charged. I looked into the other VV PV's but was intimidated by them. The twist is so easy to use---just turn the end of it clockwise and increase the voltage. Nothing to remember or program. And the price is very reasonable.

Vapers may still eventually upgrade to a Provari or other more sophisticated VV device, but if a noob is going to order an eGo C kit anyway, I would definitely recommend going with the twist.
