the ego T model is typically called that because of the "tank" tip you attach to it. if you like the "tank" style of vaping i would say look to get some CE4 style clearomizers. They would fit on the same batteries you guys have now. A twist type kit would be a little more oomph than what you guys have now but would be the same. There are lots of sites that carry ego twist starter kits with the CE4

IDK how much of vaping you know but you could get a couple of tanks or cleartomizers that fit the ego batteries you currently have...
I THINK that if you go low resistance you get a better vape/vapor production (veterans please confirm)

for the price you would pay for a new ego style starting kit you get a vast array of tanks and liquids.

on the other hand you could just buy the 1 twist battery and keep the ego as the backup (no need to discard what's still working)
I've discovered that I'm better off buying batteries with the passthrough option and the biggest mah possible

If you'r unit is no longer working as the 1st day it is possible you need to do a thorough cleaning or replace the atomizer
I've you got question the ECF's got answers

Thank you for the replies.

Yeah, both of our units are working, although she has been having trouble with the carts leaking into the atty(?) so she bought the last battery the store had. It's good to know that we can still use the same batteries.

Yes, she likes the cartridges because it allows her to keep track of when she needs to add more juice. I enjoy it as well since it's fun to get new flavors and whatnot.

What I'm thinking of is basically a starter kit and a flavor sample kit. I have yet to order anything online. I've looked at the supplier forums but just get confused. I know everyone has their site they like so I'm willing to take suggestions.

Thanks again.

Yes that tank system is notorious for leaking. If you both like being able to see how much juice is left then a ce4 would be a nice replacement. However its not as easy to just change the little tip with a CE4 but people will buy 3-4 of them at a time and keep a separate type of juice in each one. There are TONS of sites out there so i know it can be confusing. I have ordered from hoosierecig, volcanoecigs, discountvapers, jvapes, reosmods and okcvapes. None of which ive had problems with. Reosmods might be a little more high end then what your looking for though. If your into the ce4 idea there should be starter kits that come with ce4's

I agree with ironbytes. I would go for a Spinner 1,300 mAh variable volt. You also may consider getting her a Mini Vivi Nova tank. They are rebuildable simply by unscrewing the old head, and screwing a new one on in it's place. With the spinner and the Vivi, she can change the voltage as well as experiment with different OHM heads to improve her vaping. She will find she can get better flavor over her current set up.

Hi, my mom uses an eGo-T but the smoke shop she bought it at is discontinuing the model. I also use an eGo-T.

With the holidays coming up, I wanted to get a kit for her for another model similar to the eGo-T but maybe a bit better.

Any suggestions?

Yes, the Mini has a 510 thread. What's confusing you about it? Maybe I can offer an answer.

Sorry for the delayed response. Long weekend of work, holidays, and shopping :) Hope everyone had a good holiday.

I tried looking around and the mini vivi nova looks a bit confusing. Does it just attach to the eGo-T battery?

There is a vivi nova mega that holds a little over 3ml called the mega and a smaller one called the mini or slim that holds 2ml. The mini is about the same size as a twist. I use the mega since I've had absolutely no leaks and the heads last me at least 2 mos. I have just started rebuilding my own so still in the learning stages. The wicks are silica and mine hold up well. I clean and wetburn about every day and a half when I refill my tanks. I have yet to burn out a coil and when the wicks are totally getting degraded I put them in my rebuild stash.

Right on. I think the mini is the way to go. Myself, I smoked regularly for about 2 and a half years but was never really addicted and never felt the need to smoke. I guess I was lucky that way. I like using the e-cigarettes and have for a while. I just enjoy the activity, I guess. I like the flavors and whatnot. My mom quit smoking. She took Chantix and hasn't had a real cigarette in months which is great since I think she smoked for close to 40 years.

I'm debating whether to get a whole starter kit for the mini Vivi or just the tanks since she already has a working battery.

I concur .... grab a twist or spinner (I actually prefer the thickness of the spinner both physically and aesthetically), a D type ego skirt/sleeve/what ever they call it, and a Vivi Mini Nova. It's a pretty darn good setup and will BLOW your mind compared to an Ego-T.

The voltage allows you to get the best taste and vapor out of the juice you are using, along with allowing you to use a broader range of ohm devices. You'll flip out the first time you taste the difference between standard voltage egos and variable voltage.
