Also, what is your experience level? Some atties are easier to build on than others...
Kay fun is a pain for a newbie build but the big dripper is a good one if you want the benefit of a tank but the clouds and flavor of a RDA (Rebuildable dripping atomizer) it is a 3 post design with a stainless tank that sits above it that when you push down on the driptip it squirts juice down on your coils.
I guess I should of asked you what kind of mod you're planning to use this on too, that kind of makes a difference too.
If you're looking for an rta, I would recommend the Lemo. Kayfun style with more airflow and can be bought for about $35. Gets a lot of good reviews.
Started building recently and I after reading around decided to start with a Kayful light plus - got the clone a good one that was recommended and so far its been great. Few newbie things Im still learning and getting used to.
I second the Lemo recommendation. It is really easy to build (larger deck than Kayfun) and great airflow - although the airflow control is a bit wonky and doesn't always stay where you set it. But all in all it is a great piece at a great price. I also have a Kayfun and I like the Lemo better at this point.
Every RBA has it's nitch, so which nitch fits you?
IMO the days of "this one is the greatest" have long since past. There are lots of great RBAs to choose from, but they are each 'the best' for different things.
The Doc Dave is the best Genesis type RBA I have used.
The 3.1 is the best Kayfun type RBA I have used.
The A7 is my favorite dripper for flavor.
There are cloud chuckers everywhere.

My first rba was a Kayfun clone. Took a few tries to figure out how to coil & wick correctly, but I still use it frequently. For a dripper, I've been pretty happy with the Tugboat v2. Easy to build on (classic 3 post) and has adjustable airflow, which is an improvement over the V1.
