so I have some ejuice that is 12 and 18 mgs of nicotine which is obviously too strong to sub ohm. I have a kangertech subox mini (kbox mini mod and subtank mini) and also a Innokin cool fire 4 also with a Kanger subtank mini on top. I guess my question is- does Kanger make any coils for the Kanger subtank mini that I can use the higher mgs of nicotine in and if not, what tank would you recommend that would fit nicely on the mods I already have?
Thanks in advance!

There is a 1.5 ohm coil. It has a tighter draw (less air flow) and is meant for MTL, but it might work for you. If not, get the same juice in 0 or 3 mg nic and mix them to lower the nic level. You don't really NEED a new tank, but if you want one, look for the Nautilus or something similar with high(er) ohms, less airflow, lower wattage. But if you like the Kanger tanks you have, I would try mixing your juice with a lower nic juice to lower the strength first.

Thank you for your reply. You've given me 3 options to choose from. :) I guess economically, I will start with trying the 1.5ohm Kanger coils, see if that works and then go from there.
This is totally off my original topic but maybe you can answer. When working with rebuild able coils such as the kangertech RBA, what actually gives you different ohm resistances?..the gauge of wire used, how many wraps you do, or something else?

Little of both

Ea wire has a set resistance per foot.

1 inch of 28 and 1 inch of 30 will be 2 diff ohms.

But

I can make the piece of 28 longer (more wraps) and get the same as the piece of 30.

Changing wire changes how fast it will get hot, how hot it will stay etc.

Finding the coil you prefer comes down to trying diff wires. But wire is super cheap.

I use 28 someone else may like 26, but we can both make a .5 ohm coil.

As @Thrasher noted, you can get the desired results different ways. You can play with some build parameters using the Steam-Engine Calculator. The Subtank RBA is fairly easy to build on - it was the first I worked with, plenty of info and videos on how to coil and wick it for good performance. Current build in mine is 28ga Kanthal wire, 6 wraps on a 2.5mm mandrel, comes out at 1.2Ω. Not bad for semi-tootling my higher nic juices.

Also note than Kanger does have 1.2Ω VOCC coils for the Subtank - not bad coils at all, more air flow than the 1.5Ω coils.

I do have some 1.2 coils but wasn't sure if I'd be able to Vape 18mg nicotine with them because it'd be too harsh.
