Hi Snus! Virgin Vapor flavors are naturally sweet because they're extracted from real fruit or flowers. There's no sugar or other sweetener and certainly nothing artificial added to them because I don't have to. Nature makes them sweet! Try one of the strawberry flavors or the peach to see for yourself!

Thanks, Annette! Not sure if I will like the peach, but the strawberry sounds delicious.... The other concern I have is with diacetyl for the cream flavors... I've read that some of the substitutes are worse than the diacetyl...

I'd love it if you carried the bud sapphires again, I bought a bunch of them toward the end, so I have a couple unopened boxes yet, but I find them affordable and love the flavor clarity I get from them. And after the debacle with the chemical-taste on the Vision Ego, I don't feel comfortable buying those again.

Another suggestion, if there was a way to order multiple cartos at a time instead of clicking "add to cart" and then going back to the item and adding another, and another, etc, that would be great!

OK, Sydlie, I'll reorder the Bud Sapphires as you're not alone in asking for them! Some people hate them and I don't like that they seem inconsistent but they're inexpensive and I always just loved the crystal clear flavor they produced too! They're also an amazing upgrade over the atty/cartridge system for anyone using the Joye 510 battery.

I'm about to redesign our labels and am definitely trying to figure out a way to put a "born on" date without having to reprint labels every day. A separate sticker just might work if I can find a small one that will fit! Definitely a great idea! Thank you both!:)

Annette, I agree with the others about adding a born on date and it would also be great if you could add the mix...50VG/50PG...or...100%VG. I know most folks usually always order the same mix, but an example is back when I was switching from the 100% VG to the 50/50 and I purchased the 80% PG to mix with the 100% VG, I forgot to mark one of the bottles and ended up not knowing if it was all VG or the 80% PG. Even if you could add it with a fine marker on to your label per order would be awesome IMHO. :)

I'd like to suggest a membership option. Something like Winery membership. Say for $10/month membership fee, members would receive 3 small bottles (4ml is it?) of new flavors, or something similar to that. What would be really nice and unique is for you to create different/custom tailored flavors for each member based on what they had ordered in the past and what you think they might like. Exmp. If I had ordered Bed of Roses, you might want to send me Freesia Absolute flavor, however if I had Peppermint Chill you would do Lemongrass or Wintergreen instead.

On a different note, I am computer programmer/system analyst, even though I do not have much time for extracurricular activities, please let me know if there is anything I could do to help with your web site mods. Of course, free of charge.

Regards,

Hi Roby, thank you for the suggestion! I'm going to look into how to set up a vape of the Month club as I think that would be really fun! And thank you so much for the offer of website help! I'm not the most technically savvy person so I may just take you up on that, in exchange for e-liquids, of course! :)

Hi Snus, I've been talking to other suppliers on the supplier's private forum about this recently. It was originally my plan to test every flavor I use for diacetyl and all diketones to be absolutely certain but when I finally found a lab willing to do this I discovered the cost would be well over $100,000. Even if I only tested flavors that seem more likely, the cost is still out of the range of possibility at the moment (although I hope to be able to do this eventually as Virgin Vapor grows up).

I went to the supplier's private forum here on ECF to get some advice and found out that most suppliers do not do these tests themselves but rely on what the flavor manufacturers tell them. One of my manufacturers has told me categorically in writing that the flavors do not contain diacetyl or any diketones. Another company said the flavors do not contain diacetyl but as I started to press them about other diketones and ask them to put it in writing they told me that their lawyers had advised them not to respond as they felt vaping is an untested use of the flavors and something they would not openly support or respond to. They also were suspicious that I was a rival flavor company trying to unearth their secret recipes. I thought this was ridiculous but, talking to other suppliers, this may actually have been true as the flavor business is very proprietary and it is certainly safer to not say anything from a legal standpoint. I did obtain the MSDS sheets for the flavors and there are no respiratory warnings, toxicity or hazards listed. Anyway, this has all kind of brought me back to where I started. Personally, I'd really like to have the tests done myself rather than rely on someone else's word.

So what I have decided to do is first to get an MSDS report (material safety data sheet) for a single bottle of e-liquid. This will also test all the components including the nicotine and VG as well as flavors. I've contracted this test already and it takes a few weeks. This is the kind of test you see done by places like Johnsons Creek, etc. I will be posting the results on the website when they come back and am quite excited to be able to do this! After that, I want to test a single flavor from the manufacturer that has been more cooperative with stating things in writing. I will pick the flavor that seems most likely and if they are being honest with me, the results should prove that and I'll feel pretty comfortable trusting the rest of their flavors. Then I'll start with the next manufacturer. This is all an expensive proposition as Virgin Vapor is still quite a small little company, but basically I work very hard to be the leader in the organic e-liquids market and I feel it is my responsibility to do this as best I can. Not to mention that I use all my e-liquids myself and have become very dear friends with many of my customers!

If you are concerned about it before I get through this process, I would stick with the flavors that don't generally have diketones and also with the Absolute line of Virgin Vapor e-liquids as this is made by the manufacturer that has been more forthcoming with me and willing to put things in writing. I've spent a lot of time on this trying to figure out how to do the best with limited resources but let me know if you have any better ideas!

Sorry for such a long response, but this is an important issue to all of us so I thought I'd just include all the back and forth I've gone through about this over the past few months.

Hi Annette,
First let me introduce myself, I'm Alex and I love your juice. I was initially drawn in by the organic blends and just the feeling that they are safer overall than artificial flavorings. Then I got the four juices I decided to try in the mail. It was love at first vape. There is a quality in your recipes that I haven't found anywhere, the natural sweetness really hits home with my palette. I have tried dozens of vendors and I really can't stand the artificial cough syrup sweetener flavors that I couldn't escape until I found your site.
It's not the place for a review, but I have to mention my favorite liquids so far. I fell in love with peppermint chill. It is so refreshing and tasty and perfect for the morning. I also ordered sweet summer lemonade and it is the first lemon-ish liquid I've ordered that's lemony but not acidy or overly sweet. I can't wait for it to steep a little and get even better. I also really enjoy the maple french toast (occasionally this really hits the spot) and, though tasty, the key lime pie has taken a back seat. This juice is so good it would stand out as the best in almost any order I've placed with another vendor, but compared to your others, I guess its the most average.
I have decided to vape organic liquids wholly, and you are definitely my main(and only, for now) supplier. I have a suggestion and a request.
I'd like to see more description on the site that clearly differentiates each line of juices..I pretty much know my stuff but even I don't know exactly what makes each one different other than the base(ecopure, etc).
As for my request, the first fruit flavor I found was one of my all time favorites, it was a blend of blue raspberry, strawberry, and menthol, with maybe some other lesser fruit flavors mixed in. If I could have something that mimicked that flavor, it would make switching to all organic that much easier!
Thanks for being so cool on the forum, I see you have a lot of interaction with the customer and that is always a good sign! I can't wait to place my next order in the coming days..

Hello, AlexanderJ! I'm so happy you are enjoying your Virgin Vapor so much!

I do have a brief description of the three lines on the FAQ page, "The standard Virgin Vapor line is created using USA extracted nicotine and organic flavors in a base of organic ethyl alcohol. The ECO Virgin line uses the same flavorings but uses a nicotine that is extracted in a laboratory in the U.K. instead. The Absolute line uses the same U.S.A. extracted nicotine found in the Virgin Vapor line but a different line of flavorings that do not contain any alcohol. " I'm thinking maybe a bullet point chart would make it clearer though. Thank you for the suggestion!

I'm always happy to make a custom flavor for you! I have quite a few customers who have special requests and I'll work with you to try to create the taste you are after. I keep a recipe box so I can always recreate your recipe for you or tweak it as needed. Just e-mail me with your request and I'll see what I can do!

A suggestion about the vision stone: If you could get the company that makes these to improve the wire connection inside them, you would be doing a LOT of people a big favor!

I'm working on it! They've been quite responsive when I've asked them to make changes, so I'm hoping we can swing this too!

The company is sending me a new e-cig that comes with a Stone-like tank. They claim it does not have the wire connection problems and is the new and improved Stone without the previous issues. It looks quite nice and is on the way for me to test out so we shall see! Fingers crossed! I asked them to send me a couple of them and if they do, I'll run a contest and give a few away so others here can try them too!
