Hey all. Per suggestions from this forum, I just ordered an E-Power starter kit from Liberty Flights as my first step up from KR808D-1 models. They were out of stock on the 18650 starter, so I settled on the 14650 (as well as a boatload of juice from Kick Bass, Vapor Bomb, and AVE). I would like to hear any and everyone's tips, tricks and suggestions for a first time user. Thanks advance. :D

Hey SummerDawn, I've had my Epower 14650 for about a month and a half, and really do love it. It has been everything that I had hoped it would be. The one weak point that I have found is the battery charger that comes with the kit. Mine quit working after about a week. I got mine through madvapes and made out a ticket on the faulty charger. Hoogie had a replacement in the mail the next day. The batteries that come with the kit are ok, but IMR replacement from Electonicstix will give you a much longer use per charge. It's always good to have spares anyway. Aside from those issues (which are minor) it's a great unit. If you want a real all day vape, order some EMDCC cartos and a V2 shorty adapter (which is necessary for those cartos on the Epower) and you are good to go for 8-10 hours.

BTW where do you live in Wyoming. I grew up in Saratoga, though that was MANY years ago.

How does the spacing look after you add the V2 shorty? An EMDCC fits flush and pretty on a standard ego/riva, just like the XL type B attys.

I do not drip much, except to try out new flavors. I find it too messy for my liking. That said, I have dripped with Epower and should be no issue as it is a sealed unit. I always use drip tips with my cartomizers just because they are more to my liking than the rubber caps. The EMDCC come with a rubber tip. The original ones were a whistle tip design, but the newer ones are like the pawns. I prefer the whistle tip style so I am keeping the tips when I order new EMDCC's. That may be a while though because these things are long lived. I'm still using two that I got over a month ago. Cleaned them once, which was easy, and still going strong. I ordered 8 when I made my order and still have two brand new ones still in the wrapper. They are great and a perfect partner for the Epower.
HAPPY VAPING

Nitelite vapor sells whistle tips for 510 and I think 901. You can get them in anodized too, I believe. They also sell some really great liquids. Bounty Hunter is their flagship flavor and has gotten a real following. I like it OK, but it's not my favorite, but I do really like the US Marshall. Mostly tobacco flavs, but definitely good ones, and inexpensive.
